Sekirei, by Sakurako Gokurakuin, translated by Caleb D Cook, lettering by Phil Christie.
“An Ashikabi’s power is proportional to the number of Sekirei they’ve winged and the depth of their bonds with them. No matter how much of a failure he looks like on the outside, he’s already got five Sekirei.”
A Manga graphic novel. Minato is a rounin, a failed student supposed to be cramming for a re-sit. He becomes involved with Sekirei, girls with special powers, enormous breasts and tight panties. They’re fighting in a game that will see the survivor win. If they fall for Minato he becomes their Ashikabi and they are strengthened. Bouts of fighting are interspersed with romantic and humorous interludes. Romance is thick in the air.
The characters are represented as teenagers and they are the target audience. Readers are invited to think of themselves as Ashikabi. To say it is a young man’s dream to have lots of voluptuous girls attracted to him is stating the obvious.
The world of manga was unfamiliar. I found it hard to understand at first because of the shifting narrative and relationships. I decided that it’s not for me.

This just keeps getting better.
Now, four Sekirei for Minato? Looks like it's... STOP! HAREM TIME! LOL... yeah this is really fun. I'm really enjoying reading this. Beautiful women, exciting battles, plus mystery & intrigue! One thing's for sure - Minato is gonna need a bigger bed! Ah, such fun. What a lucky fellow. He's surrounded by a bevy of beauties, to be sure. Things are really heating up, too. Other Sekirei are actively searching for our friends. Be wary, everyone!

Not bad manga. great art, decent story, great action but this mangas like 95% Ecchi😬🍉👌💕😝

Really enjoyed this Volume over the others and now I'm really invested into the story and the characters. Excited to read more.

I would consider this one a little slow at this point. Minato's harem getting bigger is about the only major change here. This volume shows you what all happened with his sister and her Sekirei though. Oh my gosh is Shiina almost as adorable as Kusano! I guess that kinda fits since they consider themselves siblings though...
