One pattern, so many possibilities! Ok, so there's technically 2 patterns but they're 2 sizes of the same crocheted cat with so much character you just have to make one. Or two. Or, well many! I made two for myself, one for my mom, and a friend of mine is really looking forward to getting hers. And I want to make a whole bunch more for myself, in different colors, in variegated yarn, they just get cuter and cuter the more you put togethere and this book illustrates that so well, I had to laugh out loud a few times while going through the picture stories. You can get the pattern online for free from the author but they book is so worth it's price, I would highly recommend it. I keep going back to it, smiling as I watch this cute cat with character playing out the authors amazing fantasy.

Maybe I will make Pete the Cat! Thanks Donna I love the book. This book is hilarious. Definitely not your normal crafting book. These cats are just too darn funny. I love the one in the coffee press! The sushi is pretty good too. I needed a good laugh. I can't put it down. After all the coffee I drank at work tonight I may have a little clever Amineko of my own made. Very clever book. You have got to check out cat nap positions. You can make fish pillows, swim trunks,dresses with bloomers and snuggle bags too! Zen Kitty..Meow-Ommmm...Climbing trees(imagine Cats Stevens music playing in the background of course...)Excellent instructions and patterns included. I have a new hobby.

Easy to read, and all around wonderful little book.

Amineko, is both pattern book and story book.

Most of the book is filled with short cute little story's about how the Aminekos spend their day.

After the story's you'll find pages filled with ideas for ways to modify your Amineko and patterns for large (ok HUGE) and normal size cat. Oh! And there are little patterns to sew up outfits and bedding for your cats too.

I have this book 5 stars because 1. Stands on it own as one of the most unique pattern book books I've ever seen. 2. The Amineko pattern is easy and easily modified. 3. Really well done. 4. The stories about the cats would make a great book on their own.

Adorable photography and stories of the little Amineko kitties you can crochet. When I got to the crocheting part though, the directions could have been clearer. I suppose it's somewhat understandable considering this is a translation from Japanese - but it was a bit confusingly worded.

I am working on a crochet kitty from the book though and hopefully it will turn out. I'll edit my review when it's done!

Like a combination of Aranzi Aronzo's "Cute Book" and their photobooks. The patterns are for a crochet cat and basically a lot of little beds and things to put them on. Some might just want the patterns and find the whole front section of photos unnecessary, but I found it really very fun and cute.

Very cute but needs editing

The author put a LOT of work into this, and had fun doing it., I bet. There are many many pictures. But it does need some editing, unless the author meant for letters in number places.. Or words to be chopped up. There are simplistic patterns with pictures as well. If edited, def worth 5 stars
