3.5 stars. An enjoyable read, but not as top notch as others I've read from this author, there were some slower moments building up some back history and then after the big revenge against her father was over there was a lengthy period where our pair are separated again. I did enjoy the Texas setting and the H and h battling it out against the greedy land grabbers trying to take her ranch away. The ending was way too abrupt for my taste. If authors need to just stop, a little afterward is always appreciated.
Note, despite the cover that screams bodice ripper to some readers, note that there's little more than a few kisses and those are very rare indeed.
