Rolen Iserye was a cyborg pilot, at home only when plugged into his ship, its sensors feeding directly into his brain. So when he was unexpectedly grounded on the planet Bacchus, he drowned his misery in drink and a woman. Then the nightmare became a waking hell. Accused of murder, he was tried, convicted, and sentenced before he could prove his innocence. The next thing he knew, he was one of Bacchus' living corpses - marked for life, stripped of his rights, and doomed to servitude. But whoever had set him up also sent someone to get him. And the Transport Guild, which controlled all interplanetary spaceflight, was hunting him, too. Both sides wanted the top-secret hardware in his head - and no matter which reached him first, he would die...

An excellent, thrilling cyberpunk book. With well written characters, an interesting setting, and some good twists and turns.
