A new title in the groundbreaking THAT'S NOT MY.. series. Combines bright, colourful illustrations with a variety of different textures to touch and feel on each page. Helps very young children develop important language and sensory skills. 1 year +

These are just great! Love the touch and feel elements and can't wait for Amelie to keep exploring this over and over again as she learns how to feel all the different textured bits!
Such a cute little touch and feel book! My daughter loves scratching on bear's rough tongue and feeling his soft, fluffy belly. Definitely a favorite winter book!

A charming touch and feel book perfect for babies and toddlers. These series of books are a big hit with my daughter. Fun to read out loud for mom and fun for baby to feel the different textures. Very cute.
I love this series and am sad they are mostly unavailable now. I got this one as a donation. They are a hit to read with toddlers, especially one on one since there is a tactile element. But the pictures are bright, clear, and colorfully illustrated.
We received this as a hand-me-down from some friends (thanks Ian and Aimee!), and it quickly became my son's favorite book. Over and over again, he pulls it off the shelf and turns the pages so he can squash the polar bear's nose and rub the polar bear's belly.
Better than That’s Not My Bunny, but it quite as enjoyable as the classic That’s Not My Elephant. The infant enjoyed the tactile experience, and the toddler enjoyed the words and illustrations.
A toddler and up book with touchable parts where each polar bear is hown with a differnt toucable body part until the readers polar bear is found. lots of fun
Cute, simple, with sensory appeal. 😆 I love a good rhyme. Now that he is starting to use his hands, I was able to rub them on the fuzzy tummy, soft ears, and rough tongue. I liked it.
The books in the "That's not my..." series can be an interesting read for young babies. A common downside of the series is that the descriptions and textures become overly general and repetitive. While this book depicts the polar bear's black tongue accurately, the textures are too repetitive; e.g., the nose and food pads on the paws feel very similar, and the smooth, leathery pads are not "bumpy" as it describes. The number of paw pads depicted is also incorrect.
These touch and feel books are good at holding my 2 year old's attention most of the time but I don't like or enjoy reading them her enough to buy them or recommend them to anyone. I mean I'd take them out every so often from our library for her enjoyment.I want to add that liked this better than the lion and frog ones.
