My Little Human (2.5 years old) really liked this book. He likes just about any book about vehicles. This one is nice because it's about BIG vehicles: the biggest plane, the biggest helicopter, how much weight they can carry...And the pages fold out so the book doubles in size.
I gave this book to my grandson who loves, loves, loves it! He's only 2, yet he wants to fix and run the world with machines, and especially with tools. He knows more about these big machines than his granny. I have a learned a lot reading this book to this 2-year-old. Now, when I find myself driving down roads, I can point to "big machines" and their accessories, and describe them by name!
Great BIG book with thick pages that fold out about large machines/vehicles. Full of lengthy explanations of the different machines and their working parts. Features mining, farm, flying, road, building site, and dockside machines. We read a couple of pages at a time, though Eliot enjoys looking at all the intricate illustrations on his own too.
Got this as a gift from grandma. my boy likes it, but its too informative...
and older kids won't be interested in it anymore. whatever, nice pictures. he likes that its a big book. i don't like machines much, but try to see the value in everything :P
This book tells of construction, seafaring, mining, and air vehicles. I enjoyed learning about them and seeing their sizes as they are drawn to scale. I liked how each machine is shown in a work setting. Your children will love it.
