Fantastic book with a wide range of activities for families and children. Lots of details on attractions including cost, if it's suitable in the rain etc etc! Very good value and essential if your planning a staycation!!

It feels disingenuous to give this book a 'read' date because I pick it up all the time to get ideas of things to do on odd weekends, and especially now in the school summer holidays. We have enjoyed a lot of family days out courtesy of 501 Days Out; it gives lots of useful information on how child-friendly a particular attraction is, how much walking is involved, and whether the attraction is free or high/low cost. I use my copy all the time and recommend it for parents with children of all ages.
