Summary:
Chapter one is mostly about a twenty three year old actress from Germany. Her name was Elke Sommer. It was also about a journalist named Joe Hyams. The husband of Elke Sommer. Joe and Elke had bought a house in Beverky Hills, Calif. Once the couple moved in they've been experiencing spooky events in the house. The weird occurances started on July 6, 1964. They started to hear noises that had repeated over and over again. The house had gotten weirder until the Hyam's family called the ASPR investigators. The rest of the books talked about historys of ghosts, experiences, etc.

What I really liked about this book was how they told the story detail by detail. I also like the captions that go with the pictures. it went really well.I would recommend this to a friend that is very interested in ghosts.

Hauntings, ghosts, poltergeists and those who hunt them in this amazing book. If you ever were curious about the realm featuring ghosts, grab this book. Fascinating.

This product won't scare the bejeezus out of you. It's more on the cozy side (witch is fine by me), giving examples of hauntings from different parts of the world and from different eras, all quite detailed and well written.
But... The overillustrated glossiness of it leaves me a little bit unsure..
Is this a thin coffee table book about ghosts, or a picture book for overgrown children looking to be suitably spooked?
In short - browsing through it made me feel somewhat juvenile.

I mean I am writing this review in 2016, and back then I was far more interested in Haunted things. The topic was more fun, and while I still love a good scary mystery, I've become so preoccupied with real life and other newer hobbies that its just something that is decently fun to read.
My library has also probably gotten rid of this book, so I might never read it again.

Ein informatives Buch über das Paranormale. Leider stärkere und interessante Geschichten mischen sich mit schwachen und wenig beschriebenen "Legenden". Trotzdem, finde ich es interessant zu lesen für Leute, die Geistergeschichten mögen.

Reading for a report for school. Defanitly worht reading if you REALLY like ghosts. All kind of reporting and facts on haunting.
