Stormy Morgan’s life took a rocky turn, but things are looking up. Sure, she’s a new witch living in her childhood hometown but she’s looking forward to the future. That includes her boyfriend Hunter Ryan moving in with her so they can save up to buy Stormy’s dream house in the spring. Things are going as planned … until a scream interrupts moving day.
It’s chaos on the street, and all that Stormy and Hunter can ascertain is that Edmund, the neighborhood Lothario, is dead, and four of the many women he was screwing around with are standing over his body.
All claim ignorance regarding what happened, but there’s an air of unease rippling through the group and it makes Stormy jittery. Things only go from bad to worse when the dead man’s soul decides he wants a new body … and Hunter’s will do. If that wasn’t bad enough, there’s a new man in town … and he has Stormy and her magic in his sights. He also seems to be communicating with her cat after dark. That’s not suspicious at all, right?
Stormy might be new to magic but she’s relentless when it comes to protecting the people she loves most. She’ll do whatever it takes to make sure Hunter is safe, and as for that cat? The truth is about to come out.
So, sit back, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
When I was a kid, I was torn between whether or not I was going to grow up and be the Incredible Hulk or Wonder Woman. I flirted with being a Jedi Knight for awhile, but I wasn't up for the intense travel associated with the gig. In my teens, I settled on being a writer -- although I had no idea the effort that would entail. Not only am I a writer now, but I'm a writer in several different mediums. I'm a longtime newspaper reporter, an avid reader and a voracious science fiction fanatic.
Stormy faces one of her most puzzling cases yet. While putting some of Hunters belongings in her grandparents garage (as they are now.living together) the couple hear a scream from the road outside. There's a large group (mainly women) around a body lying in the road. Thinking the man has fell and hurt himself Hunter starts to render first aid but it isn't needed as in closer inspection the man (whose name is Edmund) is dead, with a knife in his chest. Nobody claims any knowledge of how Edward came to be killed in the centre of the street and Hunter sends them all off home to be questioned later. Stormy s grandmother tells the couple that Edmund was the local lothario and all the elderly women thereabouts had relations with him regularly, treating it as a competition to win his attention. When Hunter and Stormy check out his house they find the bedroom done out like an old man's passion palace. Before Hunter can start investigating Edmund's spirit shows up and to Stormy's horror Edmund tries to take control of Hunter's body, Stormy manages to thwart him but what is she to do, it's not a like she can spend every moment following Hunter around and what if Edmund turns his attention on possessing someone else. Looks like Stormy will need Bay Winchesters help again to sort this one...........................
Not sure why I stick with this series any more. If it weren't for the narrator (she's really good!) I would not want to return. I feel like it's going nowhere - fast.
Don't get me wrong: A LOT happened in this book! I'm just sure it actually took the plot anywhere nearer to where we're (perhaps)going. Seems like the author mostly makes things up as she goes, or something, and I have no idea if anything is (ever) going to lead somewhere.
The gnomeshifter/cat thing finally took a turn for the ... uhm ... I honestly don't know if it was better or worse. I still don't have a f**king clue what is going on with "the cat". (And I'm still cranky about there not being an actual cat in the series.)
Stormy and Hunter are at least going places as a couple. That's good. Things are finally moving forward and Stormy is starting to act a bit more adult about her whole "failed career" mess-up, and subsequent debt.
Hunter is the most patient, lovable boyfriend ever. Totally too good to be true. It's adorable - and at the same time really obnoxious, by now, since I can't really say what Stormy has going for her as a person. She's ... OK. That's about it. (Sorry.)
The side-gallery of characters keeps growing and things keep happening "off page" in other series. I really, really should not be following this series on its own, but I can't find the will or energy to pick up the other ones.
Because let's face it: This one isn't all that great, so why would the other ones fit me better? I really can't see that happening. (Sorry again.)
Unsure what to rate this book. I feel grumpy so I kind of want to give it 2 stars, only, but... It's never good to leave a bad score simply because you feel grumpy. (Or is it?)
This is in his retaining paranormal cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and a unique and entertaining storyline. Stormy was the young woman who wanted to be an author in high school so she wrote a book which became hit and she moved off to become famous and live a great life. She left behind her boyfriend in high school and traveled around the country. Sadly after her first book was a success the next Tucci wrote were failures and that you’re a number of years broke and not much else to go on she moved back home she’s a little town she came from. She got a job working in her grandfathers diner rented the apartment upstairs from the diner and went about getting back to life. She reconnected with her high school sweetheart who is now the local sheriff. And she soon found out they had she had some new and unique abilities. As time goes on she learns more and gets a bit more powerful and realizes that she is a witch of sorts. She meets other witches from the area and nearby towns including The Winchester’s and another Pixie witch named scout from spells Angels. She’s worked together with him on a few instances that those individuals had going on in their towns. The Winchester witches are also teaching her how to develop her powers. Once again something wonky is going on a little small town that has a supernatural twist to it and stormy and her boyfriend need to figure out what it is. The Winchesters are drawn into it once again and together they seek out and help take down the perpetrators. Always an entertaining and fun filled mystery with a few twists and turns and eventual conclusion. Check it out
Wow! a lot going on in this book, #7 in the series. And a lot is still to come as one reaches the end of the book. #8 isn't even showing up on Amazon so it will be a wait-and-see proposition! Great plot and characters in this book.

Good one. I actually wish it were longer, but at least a few mysteries were solved and a few questions were answered.
Krankle is hanging out with someone from the west side of the tracks and has made himself very scarce the past few weeks, but Stormy is fully focused on the cat because she’s too busy trying to figure out who killed one of the local men of a certain age. She’s got four suspects in mind, but runs into problems when the ghost of the victim appears and keeps jumping into various men’s live bodies to take over their lives.
What does Stormy do? Calls in some powerful witchy friends for assistance. And Stormy still can’t fully exhale yet because now she and Hunter overhear people plotting her death and have to figure out not only how to get the victim ghost to give up his ghost, but also put the pieces together on who Krankle’s new shady friend is and how he relates to everything happening.
This book includes characters from Lee’s Wicked Witches of the Midwest series - think Bay Winchester and Aunt Tilly. Then there is Evan the sidekick of Tilly. And Scout Randall is mentioned, but she doesn’t appear in this read besides in conversation.
Next book I’m reading is A Special Delivery at the Cornish Bay Bakery, book 16 of 16.
... the next reveal came... it's a little underwhelming...
While Stormy and Hunter are packing away the boxes from his house in Grandpa's garage, a murder takes place on the street outside... they're alerted by a scream from one of the gaggle of older ladies surrounding the body... what they're not prepared for is the sex toy and porn filled bedroom of the elderly victim...
Some things should never be seen... and making notification of his death to his son, who has come over to check on his father in the room, wasn't high on anyone's list either!!
Turns out the victim was keen to play the field with the single ladies at the senior centre and had a rather large harem... he might be dead, but it appears he has a plan to inhabit a much younger fitter body, and Stormy is going to be busy trying to keep him from making a permanent home inside someone else...
Meanwhile, Krankle is spotted talking to a stranger and refuses to discuss it... who is it, and what do they want? Things are moving on, and Stormy wants answers... can she get them, and will they make things better or worse??
I always enjoy the stories that include crossover characters from one or more of the authors other series! Stormy and Hunter have a murder most foul to contend with, a new possible adversary, and far more questions than answers. Who has Krankle been secretly talking to behind the shed? What is going on with a group of "Frienimies" at the senior citizen center, and is Stormy's grandmother involved, or not? What, if anything can she do about a body hopping ghost lothario? It looks like it's time to call in reinforcements; but will they be in time, and will they be enough? Read this latest installment of "A Two Broomsticks Gas & Grill Witch Cozy Mystery" and find out for yourself!
Love Stormy and Hunter and the way their relationship’s progressing. They make a great team, especially with the help of my favourite family, the Winchesters. Here we see Stormy’s powers increasing as she tackles another murder. We find out a little more about both her and Krankle, which has intrigued me throughout the series. The jokes in this tale had me laughing, love Amanda’s irreverent humour. I can just imagine Granpa in his diner and all the quirky customers. Another great instalment in this wonderful series.
I give this a schmaltz rating of 20%. Amanda has a tendency to go for what my grandma called gubbershlushing with a lot of her books. It annoys me when it hits 30% because it can get in the way of the story. The ratio of story to g…. - don’t ask me to spell it again, was just fine in this story. It’s fun watching Stormy becoming the badass she was always destined to be. But start with the first book in this series, just like all the related books. There are a lot of grind in them.
It was great to read another book in this series. It was good. It was kind of like two stories simultaneously. I liked the way the story of Edmund's death played out. I didn't like that the other story ended in a cliffhanger with no other book to look forward to. There's obviously going to be another book, but when? 2 months, six months, a year? If the author knew she was ending on a cliffhanger, why wouldn't she have a book ready for pre-order? Ugh!

I think a lot people at one point in their life they wish they were either older or younger. As we age things start to go either wrong or right depending on oneself. The harem in this story took it too far to be young. Stormy and Hunter out a stop to it all the the help of the Winchesters. Now that is done Stormy has learned some information from Krankle and what it means to her future. Love this series, can't wait to see what happens next.💚💙
So starting this book , right at the beginning, made me pause; is the cat evil? Is Hunter going to be possessed? I wasn't looking forward to those senerios, but I kept going and was I ever glad; fantastic story, a few answers, and some mire growth for Stormy. Love the crossovers with the Winchesters and Scout ( waiting patiently for her next book, soon please), loved this and hope the next is soon in this series as well.

Stormy continues to find herself tasked with growing quickly. Enter problem number one. A dead guy jumping into bodies. Enter problem number two. After being harassed Krankle defends Stormy and then disappears. Hunter and Stormy remain strong as a team but our Hellcat needs help getting everything under control. Enter team Hemlock Cove.
This series really took an unfortunate turn with Book 7 boring and slow paced. I didn’t laugh once and had to force myself to finish. The continued character crossovers from other series (Bay, Tillie, Evan) is a weak tool to prop up what was a bridge book rather than a great series that stands alone. Two Broomsticks either needs a reset or to end, not just meander along endlessly.
This was not the best book I ever read. They spent too much time on hunter and stormy fawning over each other and it wasn't necessary for the story. It just made it wordy. She comes across as needy of him. I prefer a more independent character. Romance is great but get on with the story. Have an opinion you don't need to check with Hunter. Grandpa on the other hand. I loved this character. He reminded me of my dad.
Stormy is still suspicious of Krankle and for good reason but a dead body, the Hemlock Cove crew, and a ghost that won't crossover make for an interesting peek into the answers to many of Story's questions about her future. If you enjoy paranormal tomfoolery that includes Tilly Winchester than you're in the right place.
Amanda M. Lee’s books are a masterful work of art. I ran out of her books, and had to choose a different author for a bit. How awful! Amanda crafts stories that are worth reading over and over until she writes something new. These books should be read by older teens through adult, they’re not rude, or overly sexualized, but they really aren’t for young teens.
This is a really good series of books to read. I love reading books by Ms. Lee. Her stories flow easily and keep you entertained. I never felt like there was a lull in the story or a lot of unnecessary filler. She is a very gifted and creative author. You won't be sorry to buy this book.
Nice advancement of the Stormy/Hunter story. The evil four was a nice side story. Always a treat to find Aunt Tillie and Bay joining in the story. The advancement of the Hellcat story line is interesting. Looking forward to see how it advances. Bring on the next book.
Loved the snarky humour and the story, when Stormy returns to her childhood home, broke and very unhappy. She soon picks up with her ex boyfriend, Hunter Ryan, and works for her crotchety Grandfather in his restaurant. Her witchy powers soon surface, and aided by the wonderful Winchesters, life becomes very interesting. Loved it!!
Amanda has done it again. it's no surprise there, though. I've read everything she's written and never been disappointed. I love that she intertwines her characters from one series to the next. They are all lovable characters on their own, but putting them together is just the best. Well done, another winning book, in my opinion.
Hunter is moving into Story's apartment and selling his house. While storing some stuff in her grandfather's garage, a murder takes place down the street. The investigation leads to the discovery of a magical spell and the appearance of a magical stranger in town. With the help of the Winchesters, they uncover the truth.
two broomsticks gas and grill witch cozy mystery books 1-7
I am throughly enjoying this series l can’t wait for book 8. Stormy is a real treat, but Tilly is hilarious l luv the whole concept of these books they have it all witches, vampires, shape shifters and non magical characters, good and evil l certainly recommend reading these books.
Another book in the Stormy saga as she continues to grow into her powers. She has the backup of Hunter, the Winchester Witches and her family. I can't wait for the next book!
I absolutely love the books she writes! She is funny and magical !! I have read almost all of the magical adventures she has written. I am making my way through all of her books . Thank you so much Amanda M. Lee!
I love ❤️ love 💕 love 💗 these books. Hate that I read them in one setting cause then nothing and have to wait for more. I love 💕 the characters. I love 💗 the plot just overall a good book.
As always Amanda doesn't disappoint and has weaved a great story, I love the connections she has made involving the different series!! Can't wait for more adventures!
I enjoy this series. Plenty of snark and some romance too. The storyline was interesting and engaging. We learned a lot about Stormy’s familiar in this book too which was fun. Excited to see what happens next.
