Connor Mason never expected to find the woman he spent a passionate night with after she disappeared. But now that he has, he’s not about to let her go without a fight.

There’s just one problem. She thinks he’s engaged.

In a desperate attempt to put things right, he breaks it off with his on-again, off-again girlfriend. But is it too late?

I decided that I wanted to be a writer at an early age. I think it all began with the movie, Romancing the Stone. I wanted to be Joan Wilder. But, more than that, I wanted to write about all of the adventures that she was going to have. I must admit those first few drafts were pretty rough. But the more I wrote, the more I learned. All through school, I was writing. Each class I went to, someone was waiting for a new chapter.

As I got older, I did what everyone does. I got a 9 to 5 job to pay the bills. But writing was still my passion. A few close friends at the office began reading my books, and soon I had other co-workers coming up to ask for chapters. On the advice of Roxanne St. Claire, I joined Romance Writers of America. Getting involved in the national organization and my local chapter has been invaluable. It has not only taught me a lot about my writing but it gave me a group of friends who truly understand.

I am originally from Indiana. Corn country, as I like to call it. At the age of fourteen, we moved to Orlando, Florida. As much as I like the warm weather, I miss Indiana. It will always be home. But moving to Florida gave me some wonderful friends, and of course, the man I married. He is the best husband in the world. He is always supportive and never fails to have a shoulder that I can lean on. He understands that my writing is a passion, and always cheers me on. Together, we live with our son and two cats.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, playing video games and watching movies. I love to travel. My husband and I were blessed to be able to take a cruise through the Mediterranean for our honeymoon. I have been to Italy, Greece, Spain, Sicily, France, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Curacao, Martinique, and various states in the United States. I would love to go to Egypt, Ireland, Scotland and England.

I love to meet readers and other writers, so feel free to drop me a line.

DNF.

Second chance romance. h runs off after memorable ONS with H.

H moves on and has casual sex arrangement with OW for months even while pining for h. He even sexes h and takes OW to lunch next day. We also had to read about how much H enjoyed his arrangement with OW and how she could make a man happy and how he might have committed to her if he hadn't met h now 1 yr later....:((

h was celibate for years - before and after H:(

Also OW becomes psycho after H finally tries to break up(at the company party where OW is his date and h has to watch them) and tries to kill h....ugh!

This book was okay. There was a small story line. I felt we didn't really get to know the characters too much. For a short read it was fine. I've read worst but I have read better too. Basically the past comes back to haunt the two mc's then a jealous ex gets in the way. Not much more to it.

When Shauna asked me to review her book “The One Nighter” I accepted but I wasn’t sure what to expect. I loved the cover and the blurb sounded pretty good too. I was looking forward to reading it, however, when I did finally get the time to read it I was surprised. It was a good surprise. I loved this book from beginning to end and I’d recommend it to everyone.

“The One Nighter” has an exciting story line that never fails to surprise you (I especially liked the twist at the end) and the characters are easy to relate to. Melanie is a believable character who is easy to connect with and you can feel her pain like it is your own. A great read.

I can’t pick any faults with this book (except the odd typo). FIVE STARS

It's an okay story but it's not a book, I read it in less than an hour. It moves too quickly through the story, and whilst I don't like books full of filler this one could have done with some.

The potential is there if the author wanted to expand on it, and tell us more about the characters, who they are, what they like or dislike.

I didn't think the cover on Amazon matched the story either, there's nothing inside the book that looked like it related to the cover image.

It's a very easy read but it's not a satisfying read, the end is full of action but rushed, and there's no indication it's a prelude or prequel to a more in depth book.

After a wild one night stand which is completely out of character Melanie sneaks away, one year later her new boss is the man of her dreams, literally and the one night stand she snuck away from. The attraction between these two is just as strong as it was before and although they try it's impossible to fight.

This is an enjoyable free read, easy and quick I'm not sure where the twist is that one of the other reviewers mentioned but it's well worth a read.

Melanie has a one-night stand with a handsome stranger; she even lies to him.

Flash forward a year later and handsome stranger is now taking over her company and she's got to work closely with him. If that's not enough, Mason's ex comes back into the picture and it becomes a suspense story.

There's no real depth to the characters which means all the drama is manufactured and there's no conclusion except that they love each other.

I really enjoyed this story. It was a nice quick read. You get some steamy hot encounters, a little mystery, definitely some suspense, then add a little possible romance and it was a sexy good read. :)

A short contemporary romance story.
Quick easy read.
I did not care much for the ending. A bit more of a conclusion to the relationship would have made the story complete for me.

An epilogue would have been nice to close some loose ends but I really enjoyed this novel.
