28 Colorful maps organized into about 20 year segments of the era, and by regions of the world. Various subjects covered are migration, economics, history, empires, population.
Each map has a basic history of the time period along with a helpful historic timeline of major events. Also there’s an Encyclopedic dictionary of people, places and events.
This atlas is one of series of 5, but can be used stand alone. It will be a good reference when reading other history books.
