The Blood Revelation Vampires, witches, and shifters will band together to stop the darkness from winning, until one warrior is born to save the world from Satan's wrath.
When Aria Michaels sets out to find the vampire who took her mother’s life, she’s stunned when she instead finds Rialto Renaldi, the vampire who has been haunting her dreams. She hadn’t believed he was real, and she knows she should run from Rialto as fast as she can. But who better to help her find her mother’s killer?
Rialto is reluctant to help the mortal woman who has invaded his dreams, even though he’s curious about who she is and why she has this strange connection to him. He isn’t, however, about to satisfy his curiosity. The last time he became involved with a mortal, he ended up destroying her. But he knows that if Aria searches for the killer on her own, she’ll join her mother in death.
Finally, Rialto agrees to help Aria, but the pair soon learns that fate brought them together for a much larger purpose, and fate has every intention of destroying them if they don't fulfill their roles in the Blood Revelation Prophecy . . .

An exciting new series that is sure to grab the attention of all paranormal romance and urban fantasy lovers! Strong characters and steamy romance are a bonus on top of the suspense filled storyline! Blood Curse is a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to read the next book and find out who the second fated couple will be! Love has a sure fire winner with the Blood Revelation series if the following books are even half as good as Blood Curse is!
Since the night her mother was found dead, two puncture wounds on her neck, and drained of blood, Aria Michaels has been on a mission to find and destroy the person or thing that did it! All signs point to a vampire, but they don’t really exist, do they? Although, the sexy, strong, and alluring vampire Rialto she’s been having erotic dreams about wouldn’t be bad to have around. Aria is gifted with a journal that gives her names and places where “vampires” are known to be found. When Aria sets out on evening to one of the places listed in the journal she finds her life on the line, but not from a vampire. Aria finds it almost humorous that her life is going to come to an end, not by a vampire she was going to battle, but by a couple regular human thugs with a gun in an alley. As her attacker is about to pull the trigger she is saved by something that moves so fast that she can’t see it, something so strong her attackers neck’s are snapped like twigs. Frozen in fear she can’t believe her eyes when her savior is none other than the vampire in her dreams, Rialto. Seeing the damage he just did to her attackers she runs for her own life. Rialto is too fast and is in front of her before she can escape. Rialto Renaldi is a vampire and he’s been dreaming of Aria. His dreams started 26 years ago when she was born. Now a grown woman the dreams are erotic and frightening to him at the same time. After following his dreams he finds Aria and saves her from a couple thugs in an alley. Rialto has only been involved with one human woman in his long life and he ended up destroying her. While he is determined to keep his distance from Aria, he knows that he cannot let her go out and search for her mother’s killer on her own. She’ll end up as dead as her mother! Through Rialto’s own Mother, (who happens to be his Maker as well as a powerful witch), they learn of the Blood Revelation Prophecy. A prophecy that says that there will be 3 couples, destined to find each other, soul mates, and conceive a child that will save the world from the wrath of evil.
As the vampires, witches, and shifters join together the battle against the darkness has started. Will the prophecy be played out in time to save world?
This story practically introduces the series with all the definition, terms and background information relevant to the story. Our first couple is Aria and Rialto. How the story starts is riveting and the action is constant even with all the explanation and introduction of multiple characters. There are parts that I wanted to throat punch the character for their mediocre behavior but it did play well with the storyline. What I enjoy most is this story can be read as a stand-alone and doesn’t leave a cliffhanger. Definitely a great read especially when there are no editing nightmares. Love a great book that has been proofread - two thumbs up!
What a fantastic book! It really keeps you guessing how things are going to go but a lot of it was a real shocker the way it turned out. I don’t want to say too much and give anything away but make sure this book is on your list of books to read. You surely won’t be disappointed in it. You will probably want more, just like me.
First of all – this is a REISSUE with a new cover of a title that originally was released in March of 2010.
I wanted to love Blood Curse, I really did. Vampires need to be powerful, gritty and dark passionate creatures. And Rialto is certainly all of that and more.
Aria is a vampire hunter, out to destroy the creature who took her mother’s life – and as many more as she can find in her search for the vile creatures who haunt the night and destroy lives.
Yet, they have been dreaming about each other for years – and those dreams are getting stronger, more erotic, more passionate and more like real life in a place where the two seem to cross over and merge. These two are destined to find each other, overcome their differences and find a strong love for the other – strong enough to create the child who will stop the ultimate darkness that is coming.
Blood Curse is a good story. Dark, passionate, sexy vampire. Not so innocent vampire hunter who falls under the spell of the man she should be destroying. Everything was there to make this story sizzle and snap with energy. And still, for me, it simply didn’t work. I wish I could tell you why. I don’t know why though, I only can tell you my reaction to the story… and that is that it was a good story, but not one that will compel me to continue the series. I think what it came down to was simple – I didn’t believe it. And if I cannot suspend my disbelief and fall into another world then it’s not going to work.
But, as with any review you should check out the story for yourself – it may just be exactly what you are looking for in a vampire story. You’ll never know unless you go take the risk and see for yourself by reading Blood Curse.
*I received an e-ARC of Blood Curse from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.
Aria is looking for her mothers killer, she is looking for a vampire. Her mother was found with 2 puncture wounds to the neck and all blood drained from her body.
One night while out vampire hunting, she is on the verge of being attacked by 2 men, not vampires, and is saved by Rialto.
They we shocked when they really looked at one another because they knew each other from their dreams! Both had been dreaming of each other for years and had never seen the other before.
Aria wants to hate him when she finds he is a vampire but she has a hard time through the attraction she feels for him, one he shares. He has vowed to help her find her mothers killer, to show her it was not a vampire.
They are told that they are each other life mate, soul mate. That, according to a story, they will have a child that could help in saving the world. The only thing is, Rialto has to turn Aria and neither consent.
Will they find the killer? Will they have a happy ever after?
This story is decent but wouldn't be at the top of my list. There were a couple of good plot twists but one of them ended up feeling creepy to me, kind of incestuous. It is of course a story of good versus evil and love and fate. For once the vampires were not the bad guys.
Both Aria and Rialto were hiding, from themselves and life. Aria was bi-racial and was taught to hide it because of the small town she had lived in as a child. Rialto lived in his guilt over the death of the only other woman he truly loved.
To save each other and possibly the world, they will have to find the evil that threatens them.
There were some very interesting characters; Seta and Eron, Christian and the Porter brothers. I think they could be awesome with a strong story.
Rialto and Aria have been dreaming about each for years. Shes searching for her mother's killer and he's a vampire who is just drawn to her without any choice in the matter.
She believes his kind is responsible for her mother's death but he's going to do what he needs to do to figure out who is behind the deaths.
Searching for the bad guy isn't the only thing they are battling Arias and Rialto are battling g their attraction and blood lust for each other. It was a really good book and I seriously enjoyed it.
Fabulous introduction to what promises to be an exciting, relevant paranormal series. I couldn't put it down, and even gave copies as gifts. Can't wait until the next one!
3.5 Stars I enjoyed reading Blood Curse. the story flowed well and the characters development was great. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
