Decent page-turning sci-fi looking at an attempt to forge various alien races (and humans) into a coherent fighting force.
Battle scenes are good, team members seem believable.
Not a whole lot of characterization, beyond explaining what each race looks like and how they behave, but could be down to being written from the lead characters point of view.

Sergeant Bart "Dragon" Drak is rebuilding his Ranger Special Operations squad after a campaign, He needs to ensure that the multiple species in his squad don't kill each other or him. The unit is then sent to Olviat in a bid to take the war to the Ilion Federation. This is an action packed science fiction novel that also addresses the fears of combat.

Futuristic Warfare. I like Sci-Fi, and warfare books however this was a little on the dull side.

Typical military SF. Hardware. Tactics. Action. Not much character. Good if you want a light read and like military SF.
