So cute! These pictures made me laugh and the story kept my young son engaged. There are some books with few words that make no sense - they have no plot. This book proves you don't need too many words to make a good story.

My daughter really enjoyed this book. I think because she related to the general idea of taking a bath and getting clean and the steps involved in taking a bath. Obvious difference is that we follow the pig as he/she takes a bath. I think that young readers would find this story amusing and relatable.

The illustrations in this book are adorable and the text is simple, which makes it a good read aloud for babies and young toddlers.
Little pig loves to get messy, but doesn't love to take a bath. The book follows little pig through getting messy, trying to avoid bath time, getting clean, and then getting messy all over again.

I've taken to reading to my kids during their bath because it's the only place I can get both to pay attention. This book was a fun read for them because they mimed each step minus the return to the mud puddle thankfully.

Better read with illustrations
The narration is excellent. I am sure children would appreciate it, but with the absence of illustrations, I cannot appreciate the story enough. This is me hoping to see the illustrated book so that I can read it together with this narration.

Pretty boring compared to Pony Brushes His Teeth.

This is a fun book. My toddler students laugh at little pig's antics before, during, and after bath time.

For: animal fans; readers looking for a silly book about getting clean in the bathtub.
Possible red flags: getting messy.

NOT a book about a pig experiencing financial ruin despite the misleading title.

A perfect little board book to talk with littles about all the steps needed to take a bath.

3.5 stars--Very cute, upbeat little story in which a piggy has a relatable experience for tots--getting dirty, getting a bath, and then getting dirty again.

Little pig made a big mess, so now it's time to wash up. Goofy cartoon illustrations in a predominantly pink and brown color palette stand out against the clean, white background of this graphic board book. An easy read-aloud for parents as the exaggerated text reflects suggested voice inflection-- “Little Pig, WHERE ARE YOU?” Pig Takes a Bath makes for a fun way to show the little ones how to take care of themselves, and makes an excellent addition to any children's collection.

My daughter and I love this series of Hello Genius books. Really cute pictures and simple text made this a good read for infants. My 4 month old was entertained by the colors and pictures. I love that each story is entertaining, yet also teaches a lesson (in this case, the importance of taking a bath).

The pictures were SUPER cute, but the story wasn't as cute as some of the others. I mean, I get that he's a pig and pigs are messy, but I don't want my daughter thinking I'm going to give her 5 baths a day! SO not happening!

Really cute book, but not sure that my 2 year old understood the humor of it.
