Sex, Straight Up by Kathleen O'Reilly: An awful title for a great, great book. Daniel's wife died in 9/11, 7 years ago, and he still hasn't recovered. Catherine is the supposedly underachieving daughter of art gallery owners. Daniel is one of the most scarred, beautiful characters I've ever read. His attachment to his dead wife is heart breaking. You are so happy he finds Catherine. There is a suspense plotline about her grandfather possibly embezzling from the art gallery that is needed to throw them together for the second time. I wish there had been another way.

Ruthless Awakening by Sara Craven: Kind of mistaken identity plot...Diaz and Rhianna know each other, but Diaz believes she is trying to break up his sister's engagement, when it is not her at all, of course. Enjoyed this one, but a little too predictable.

The Magnate's Make-Believe Mistress by Bronwyn Jameson: Another mistaken identity, but this gets cleared up much sooner than usual, so not bad. Shares similar plot lines with Ruthless Awakening which confuses me now. Christo is rich, protecting his sister from gold digger. Turns out no one is gold digger, it's the heroine, Isabel's sister, and the brother of the sister's fiance (isn't that a lovely Harlequin plot?) Again, another independent woman refusing to take money.

Hot Under Pressure by Kathleen O'Reilly: Really liked this one. Ashley and David share a one night stand when their plane is stranded. They figure it was so good because of the sneaking around, and as David lives in New York and she is in Chicago they can keep it up. Hot, hot sex that they gradually realize is love, but both have family issues that need to be worked through. Very good.

The Tycoon's Rebel Bride by Maya Banks: Isabella has been in love with Greek magnate Theron since she was 8 (really?) and now that she's 22 and he's 32 she's decided to seduce him and get him to marry her. He is certainly twisted into knots about her, especially as he plans to marry a good Greek girl. Not bad.

(The rating is a blend of the books, and is based on my five star romance scale)

Sarah did a great job of picking out sexy, entertaining, and well-done category books. I definitely enjoyed the first two more than the last two, but all were well done.

Sex Straight up
Wow. Loved this one. Guy widowed an 9/11 still hasn’t gotten over losing his wife. THinks it would be disloyal to love someone else. Woman who doesn’t feel attractive.

Hot Under Pressure - Loved this one two Sex in airport with stranger. Sweet romance Character growth. Wonderful book. (And Apparently I bought it as a stand alone as well. Sweet. )

The Tycoon’s Rebel Bride. Probably my least favorite - just not that into the whole wealthy greek thing, but the female character was somewhat likable.

And once again my review suffers because I didn't write it right away.
