Cute little environmental book. Each suggestion was numbered from 1 to 1001, so it was great for someone who gets bored easily with non-fiction books (like me). Worked great as a bathroom book - although sometimes I had to run to get a pen (ha, ha!). I had a lot of thoughts about this book. I have generally researched pretty thoroughly through most of my life how to "save the planet." But there were some new ones in here. There were some suggestions that definitely were "little" - such as buying the thinnest type of paper available (to save trees)or dropping a font size to save ink and paper. There were some that didn't seem to make sense (one suggestion canceled out the other), and some that were just incorrect (like the one about birds abandoning their nests if you disturb one because they have a great sense of smell - birds actually smell about as well as we do - plus I happen to have a lot of experience with rummaging around in bird nests and having them come back to raise healthy babies). But overall I really liked it. It's a great little reference book and I've changed a few of my behaviors to the better.

This book is crammed with lots of little ideas that can be easily incorporated into everyday life and has a few bigger ideas that require a bit more effort. Great for those starting into a greener lifestyle and good for those already on their way to greener living

Could definitely use some editing. Lots of the tips are repeats. But probably as good a place as any to start in looking for easy green ideas.

I agreed with the other reviewer who pointed out that a lot of the tips did not seem practical.

A little out of date, but still has a lot of good tips. Passing on to a local Little Free Library.
