Art is exceptional. Text is OK they seem to be focused on everything being Shiva in a lot of ways. Probably better with more academic texts for knowledge of traditions but worth it for the jaw-dropping high quality art alone.

Excellent. A book that anybody into authentic shamanism should read and own.

August 9, 2009I don't know if I'll ever actually read this book, but it's chock full of gorgeous images. It's the single largest collection of full-color thangka reproductions I've seen. It's worth owning just for that.
