Can get into a book where the mother keeps her son a secret for his father for 24 years.

This was a really great story! Kept my attention and that’s harder to do these days with contemporary romance.

This is the ultimate secret baby story - the child in question is a 24 year old man! I know what you’re thinking: why didn’t she tell him in All that time? Well he basically hit it and quit it in high school and ran back to the other girlfriend. He basically used her and too cowardly to leave the other woman. She was also too cowardly to tell him he was a dad. In this instance they are both to blame!

Good story on faith, forgiveness and one of my favorites second chance. I know going back to an ex is risky, but I do love when people find their HEA when the time is right. The kids in this story were cute and small town setting kind of reminded me of Virgin River.

This was a good story about a woman who is returning to her hometown after 25 years mainly to contact a guy who is the father of her 24-year-old son she has never told him about. I enjoyed this book very much.

I enjoyed this touching romance. Hurt feelings, misunderstandings, and old regrets plague Nicole and Adam, and there's been a lot of life for both of them since high school, when their life-long friendship coalesced into a brief but significant romance. Through friends, love for their children, and the still, small urging of the God who loves them both, the possibility of overcoming and healing from the past emerges. A lovely, encouraging read.

Their Surprise Second Chance is different from other "surprise child" books I've read, because Nicole St. John never told Adam Hawk she was going to have a baby twenty-five years ago. Their short-lived high school romance led to an unexpected pregnancy and Nicole was forced to make life changing decisions. In the years that followed, Nicole lived her life with her son in Lincoln Park, Illinois while Adam married, had a daughter, and remained in Hawks Valley, Tennessee. Now that the long-time renters of the family's home in Hawks Valley have moved out, Nicole is ready to sell it. And she has decided to tell Adam about their son. I enjoy reading Love Inspired books by Harlequin. This story had interesting characters and an interesting plot. I enjoyed reading it.

He and Nicole broke up years ago and now they have a chance to find if there is still a spark. And there is! Adam's young daughter Kylie is adorable and her connection with her new-found brother is wonderful. But does Nicole want to give up the life she has built miles away? And will Adam and his son bond? The story flows naturally and the characters win your heart.

Nicole returns home after being away for 24 years. She her 24-old son, who has been in a plane crash, to introduce to his father, Adam, her former teenage love, who is unaware that he had a son. I can only imagine how hard that would be and how hurtful. Naturally, Nicole and Adam struggle to resist their mutual attraction. Adam's young daughter is charming, and it is delightful to observe her relationship blossoming with her new older brother. They were the best part of the story! The characters are very believable, and the hometown is friendly and inviting.
