I'm always looking for new monster romance and this cover caught my eye immediately. Plus, curvy FMC in a FFM dynamic? The potential was strong. And it started out strong too--this book could have been a five star read for me, but there were a few things that threw me a bit.
First, I will say I loved the FMC, Katarina. She was feisty, knew what she wanted, and wasn't afraid to ask for it (and demand it, in some cases). Her chemistry with Sid was intense, and the two couldn't keep their hands off each other as soon as they left the bar. Sid x Katarina was solid--Sid might not have a dick but her tentacles more than got the job done. Also worth mentioning: banter and dirty talk? A-fucking-plus.
My issue was with Sid's wolfy roommate Fenn's lack of screen time. Fenn was hot and compassionate and absolutely feral for Katarina's scent. Everyone was open to exploring an FFM dynamic, and I found communication between love interests to be super strong. Kat/Sid got SO much time though. And for a short book, I wish Fenn was just more...present on the page. It made their group dynamic feel very imbalanced.
Last thing I'll say and if you know me you know this always throws me off: "folds." I just can't lmao. That and twice her coochie meow meow was referred to as "the delta between her thighs." Girl no.

This was fun! It was mostly just spicy scenes but there were also some parts that were fade to black oddly enough. I liked how sweet and open it was though.

Fair warning, this book is smut. Not really a plot, not really romance, smut.
That being said, I read an ARC in exchange for an honest review so let's get into it.
This book started hot and heavy and ended hot and heavy. It wasn't really remarkable, most scenes leading to or ending in spice. Like a whole jar of spice. I wasn't obsessed with the whole mff. I honestly didn't realize it was sapphic until I started reading and then we threw in the male.
It was just... It wasn't as good as I anticipated. If you want a smut filled, pride friendly novella, go for it. I would have liked more world building and more substance to all the characters. A more defined relationship between the three would have been preferred.
But for what it was, it was truly well done.

We have Katarina, the enticing human, Sid, the tentacled female fae and Fenn, the male werewolf.
I think this is the first book I've read where they are not in effect a throuple/reverse harem. They are in a polyamorous dynamic, where Katarina has a relationship with Sid and is developing another one with Fenn. As a result, I didn't really like this overall dynamic because it felt like Sid+Fenn were both working in a co-sharing office space, it's just space they rented, they made sure everyone was okay, but they didn't have genuine affection for one another.
I didn't even want them to fuck, because that was how awkward their inter-dynamics was. In my head space, Katarina felt to me like a sex toy for each of them that they genuinely cared for but they didn't have the same affection for one another.
Anyway, I feel like I am repeating myself. The smut was hella hot, just didn't like one scene with dick too big for Katarina's pussy then Sid comes behind with the lube and Fenn asks her you had the lube the whole time.

Novellas like this give me life.
Overall
This novella starts off with a bang. And right off you're swooning for the characters and then panting because of them. And, the way it handles consent is sweet, but really important it shows excellent examples of how this could be done.
The rich and elaborate but understandable world building sucks you right in and has me eager to wantbto know more on how it all works. Thankfully, this is the first work in this world so there I'llget to see so much more. I honestly am so in love with the way magic is handled in this alternate modern world with all manner of creatures.
The Smutty bits
I'm gonna keep this PG but the book doesn't! It delivers. The cover is just a taste of what you can expect. Heart pounding, jaw dropping, and very clutch your pearl moments. I loved every bit. But what made the smut so good for me was that the characters really took a moment to get to know each other and find interesting things within one another.
The swoony bits.
The relationship between the characters are so wonderful. And even in a short span it really gives them an opportunity to develop. The way situations were handle in this, goes so far to show how good and crucial communication is. Also, Fenn and Sid are as different as someone with tentecles and fangs could be, but work soooo well together, which is everything.
Basically I really loved this. More than a Li'l bit.

Holy SHITE what did I just read? Also, why did I enjoy it so much?
For this being a novella, it truly packs so much information, I found myself constantly in awe of how full the storyline felt.

This was a new one for me. A woman with tentacles and knows how to use them. I liked Sidone ruling the bar. I liked Katrina's confidence. Fenn was alright too. I started getting bored. It was interesting and there was sex, there was a bit of pining on Fenn's end and more sex. It ended up mostly sex, losing the plot at the beginning.

This was so fun. If you’re looking for a sweet romance, this isn’t it. Though I do have to say that all three of them were pretty cute with each other at times. But this is straight up erotica so be ready for lots of spice in a very short amount of time. Well written though. A fun little break. Loved having an MC that wasn’t a tiny, skinny girl and that her curves were appreciated. The world was interesting too. I’m looking forward to the next one.

A fun smut story featuring a not-really chubby girl (I translated the sizes and she is a European 42? That's nothing I would call chubby but the story kinda implies that), a female dark elf with tentacles and a werewolf. So there are some nice smutty scenes with fun atuff going on.
there is also a lot of eating food, which might be there to further the relationship between the three characters, they didn't do much for me though.

Very hot, very instalove FFM romance between a human, Shadow Fae (who knows how to use her tentacles!), and werewolf. It’s kind of “you’re mine but don’t worry, we’re not going to talk about marriage or being mates yet”. As with many novellas, I was left wanting more.
The sex scenes were great but they also overtook the story. It left me unclear about how this polyamorous vee was actually going to work. Sid and Fenn are roommates but they’re not sexually or romantically involved. Sid is lesbian and they see each other as siblings and that doesn’t change once Katarina enters the mix. This is all fine and dandy but how is their relationship going to function on a practical level? Are they a throuple now or can Sid and Fenn have other partners? Are Sid and Fenn really going to be okay sharing Katarina long-term? Is Katarina just going to move in with them? The sex scenes were also unbalanced. Sid was left out once Fenn entered the picture. Don’t get me wrong—she was there but her presence was almost always about getting Katarina off while Fenn got his. The emphasis on Fenn and Katarina’s relationship was particularly jarring since the novella starts with Sid and Katarina meeting at the bar. Their chemistry was off the charts but we barely get their first time together, since much of it happens from Fenn’s POV as he hears them.
Everything needed more time to breathe. Fenn went straight for primal play in his werewolf form the first time he has sex with Katarina, even though she’d just freaked out in the bathroom about trying a polyamorous relationship. Talk about escalating quickly! The freak out felt realistic but then it’s like Katarina shrugs and gets over her concerns after a few more orgasms. The scene was still hot but it would have been better to omit the freak out altogether.
Characters: Katarina is a fat bisexual human and business analyst. Sid is a lesbian Black Shadow Fae (with tentacles) and bar owner who has purple eyes and a nose piercing. Fenn is a grumpy white werewolf and conduit engineer. They are in a polyamorous vee; Sid and Fenn are roommates but not sexually or romantically involved.

Tentacles & Teeth was a sexy little smut filled monster romance. I loved that one of the monsters in this poly relationship was female. I don’t think I’ve read a female monster with tentacles before this one but I freaking loved Sid. She’s a take no shit, work hard play harder kind of person and it was just a blast getting to know her. Plus she owns and bartends a monster bar. How cool is that?!
Then there’s confident and sunshiney Katarina. She is a curvy lady who doesn’t find anything wrong with her body and we adore that! After getting harassed by a fellow bar patron and being saved by Sid, the two hit it off immediately and decide to spend the night together.
But Sid’s roommate, Fenn the grumpy but cute werewolf shifter, can’t stop lusting after and obsessing after Katarina too. So they give Katarina the choice of having them both. What’s a girl to do? Deny her feelings and cravings or give into her ultimate fantasy?
I think was a really good debut and I will absolutely read the next one this author releases but I did have a few problems. The relationship between Fenn and Katarina wasn’t given the same amount of page time as Kat and Sid so their relationship felt stunted and not as organic as it should have. I wish we had gotten more scenes of Kat and Fenn alone together like we got with her and Sid. Also in some places the writing felt a little clunky which pulled me out of the story. Again I see amazing potential and I’m excited to pick up future releases in this series.

Tentacles & Teeth was a sexy little smut filled monster romance. I loved that one of the monsters in this poly relationship was female. I don’t think I’ve read a female monster with tentacles before this one but I freaking loved Sid. She’s a take no shit, work hard play harder kind of person and it was just a blast getting to know her. Plus she owns and bartends a monster bar. How cool is that?!
Then there’s confident and sunshiney Katarina. She is a curvy lady who doesn’t find anything wrong with her body and we adore that! After getting harassed by a fellow bar patron and being saved by Sid, the two hit it off immediately and decide to spend the night together.
But Sid’s roommate, Fenn the grumpy but cute werewolf shifter, can’t stop lusting after and obsessing after Katarina too. So they give Katarina the choice of having them both. What’s a girl to do? Deny her feelings and cravings or give into her ultimate fantasy?

Tentacles and Teeth is a sweet and spicy read featuring a poly dynamic! I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Katerina, a human, walks into her local monster bar with one thing on her mind… find someone to go home with. She immediately hits it off with the bartender, Sid, a female fae with tentacles. Their chemistry is off the charts and it only explodes when Sid takes her home that night. But what was supposed to be a one night stand quickly develops into more.
It’s not only Sid that Katerina has eyes for. Sid’s hot as sin roommate, Fenn, has caught her attention too. He’s a werewolf and he’s itching to sink his teeth into her. Sid and Fenn have no desire to be intimate together, but they all come to an agreement to “share” Katerina and have a bunch of fun!
I loved how three different types of people/monsters came together in this. I also loved their poly dynamic in that Sid and Fenn respected each others boundaries of not wanting to be together, but coming together to give Katerina her pleasure. It was nice to see how open they were to having an unconventional relationship.
And sheeeeeeeesh! The spice! This book was all smut and I 👏🏻 was 👏🏻 here 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 it! Sid and her tentacles?! Plus there’s Fenn and his biting and knotting. Katerina is a lucky girl 😉.

There are only a select few of FMC that I've gotten jealous of and Katrina definitely made the list! Tentacles, werewolf bites and more! Book also had poly, LGBTQ+, and plus size representation. My ONLY complaint is....it's too short....I need more of these three and the magical world around them, I'm invested in all three characters and I hope the author makes a fantasy series with this because I NEED MORE!!!!!!
