A rich collection of nursery rhymes organized by months and by festive and seasonal themes. Reading one each evening for a year becomes a long journey that leads the reader to discover how some children’s rhymes are hidden within songs, books, and much more, showing that wordplay and rhymes have been part of humanity’s cultural heritage for many centuries and that the magical power of words never fades. A book to cherish and perhaps revisit on special occasions.
