If the first year is indicative of how Obama plans to run his administration, I think Lindblom and his theories of democratic decision-making is going to prove to be more and more important over the next four years.

Interesting take on the policy making process. Definitely thought provoking, even though I disgree with some the suppositions, arguments, and conclusions in the book.

Depressingly honest. While oddly Pro-American.

"This system is terrible, it's broken, it doesn't work, and it's getting worse. But hey, it's the easiest and best option, change is too hard, and idealism/hope is unrealistic and probably impossible. But, yeah, go America!" My attempt at paraphrasing... :(
