Heart pounding and laugh out loud funny, Wall Street Journal Bestselling author K.F. Breene will take you on a magical joy ride you won’t soon forget.

Supernatural Bounty Hunter isn’t the sort of thing you see on LinkedIn. But with a rare type of magic like mine, I don’t have many options.

So dangerous or not, the job is mine. And it was going fine, until an old as sin vampire stole my mark, and with it, my pay day.

Knowing I’m poor and desperate, he has offered me a job. I’ll have to work by his side to help solve a top secret case.

Everyone knows not to trust vampires. Especially a hot elder vampire. But without any other jobs coming up, I’m stuck. As I uncover a web of lies and treachery, revealing an enemy I didn’t know existed, the truth of my identity is threatened. I might make it out alive, only to end up in a gilded cage.

The fmc voice actor moaning gave me the worst secondhand embarrassment. I can’t believe they didn’t ask her to fix that in post production.

This was my first Graphic Audiobook production and I enjoyed it very much. It was fun to listen to an audiobook with so many different voices and also background music.

This was for sure a Breene book (LOL). I love this author. She has so many crazy ideas. I loved the main characters and Reagans kind of crazy. The side characters were great too. I even liked the Vampires. I'm of looking if the second book was also produced in a Dramatic Version.

These are tricky. I have the space to listen to audiobooks at work, but these ones are a literal movie in your mind as advertised and I get sucked in. They're good but distracting compared to the normal ones. I liked the story and the supporting characters, Callie and Dizzy were great, as was the neighborhood watch. I'm not sure about the FMC. It's clear she's powerful and has secrets to hide, but she comes across as arrogant, despite not knowing everything. This feels like one of those Pride before the fall ones, at this point she's hiding nothing. It's a toss up whether Vlad, Roger or the Elves will find out first. Another possible vampire lover, seems to be the trend for me lately. Can't escape the werewolves or vampires. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I saw that the graphic audio for this book was being removed from the Audible Plus catalog so I decided to give it a chance without having to use one of my credits on it. I am so happy that I did because this book was a fun urban fantasy to experience with the full cast and sound effects. It didn't help that Gabriel Michael (AKA Xaden and Lucien) narrated for Darius the MMC <3

Reagan, the FMC, is a supernatural bounty hunter that is hiding some major secrets about her heritage and supernatural abilities. Her life becomes complicated when vampires take notice of her and financially extort her into helping them with a job assignment. She's partnered with an elder vampire by the name of Darius. He's polished, powerful, handsome, and very determined crack the mystery surrounding Reagan's powers.

The story itself was fast paced and kept me invested. I loved the banter between Reagan and Darius and there's so much potential with the romance between the two of them. I also definitely want to see more of Callie and Dizzy, two side characters who added so much humor to this book and were one of my favorite parts of the story.

A very fun urban fantasy! Had some great big picture mysteries that were just starting to come together. The cast was great and it was very entertaining. Perfect if you’re like me and have missed something to scratch that itch the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrew left behind. This is the CLOSEST I’ve gotten to that feeling and I’ve been chasing it for a while.

Another enjoyable Graphic Audio urban fantasy book with a snarky FMC. I want more of the middle-aged mage couple—I hope they show up in the sequels because they were very fun in particular.

Basic plot: Raegan takes a bounty that leads her on a merry chase that forces her to take on a vampire partner and hide her true nature from just about everyone she encounters.

This was a pretty fun ride. It started fairly typical for a PNR featuring vampires, then took a few unexpected turns. I liked the originality that was mixed into the traditional tropes. The pacing was good, the characters interesting, and the plot solid. I figured out Raegan's "secret" pretty early, bit with the sheer amount of hints the author dropped, I'm pretty sure the audience is intended to see it coming when it's finally revealed.

Reread in Graphic Audio

It took me a little while to mesh with the narrators for Reagan and Darius but everything started working for me by the halfway point. Dizzy & Callie are my favorites.

I really liked this series when I read it and I’m excited to keep listening in Graphic Audio.

I'm going to start by saying I really REALLY hated the graphic audio format. If the regular audiobook wasn't an audible exclusive, that's absolutely how I would be reading these. Now, that being said, I got to a point, where I can kind of tune out the sound effects, and ignore the overdone acting, and just focus on the story. I quite enjoyed this book and this series. There's nothing really special about it, but it scratched the itch. It's got a really kick-ass FMC, there's a little bit of spice, they're very easy to read books, and there's a ton of action to keep you engaged. Also, there are a few times, when something lightly misogynistic is said, things that are totally socially acceptable, like insulting a man by calling him a girl, and the main character absolutely calls people out on them, without sounding forced and preachy.

I really enjoy graphic audios, but this one felt a little off.
Darius is voiced by the same narrator that does Xaden in Fourth Wing and that's all I could hear. (Which isn't bad, just weird.)
As for the story itself, I enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of series like Alice Worth and Kate Daniels; both which I love so that's not a bad thing.
I especially liked Cali and Dizzy. They really made this a fun listen. I'm looking forward to the next books in the series.

I loved this book! The graphic audio was fantastic and Regan is hilarious. There’s something about an insanely powerful character who also happens to love dad jokes and just being weird. I like that she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Darius seems to be a great counter part for her. While Regan is the comedic relief Darius plays it straight.

I enjoyed the world building and I thought KF did a good job explaining the magic elements of this world and the brink. I’m looking forward to book two.

What a hoot! K.F. Breene's sense of humor, far-out perfect dialogue and crazy paranormal DDVN world action entertains with every page. I have read the whole series and some of it more than once. Regan and Darius and Callie and Dizzy keep me reading or listening beyond a reasonable bed time. Just finishing this GraphicAudio presentation makes it all even more fun. Great in all areas of reading and listening enjoyment.

Audiobooks aren’t my first choice but the Graphic Audio productions are really good. They elevated this one to entertainment but… I still think you need to be the right audience. The main character acts like an rpg character. She’s got advantages and disadvantages along with a fairly casual attitude to killing others. Fun if that’s your thing. Might not be for everyone.

The stars are all for the naration. I love a dramatized adaptation and did not take this book too seriously as I was on a long drive and needed something to pass the time. I won't be getting into the series, and that is not because it was not a good book but because I picked this up on the plus catalogue to pass time during my drive.

Gotta love graphic audio. I read this series a while ago. I also listened to the general audio. I saw this in my library. Not sure if I purchased it or if it was a part of my membership. Nonetheless, I really love graphic audio books. It’s truly a movie in your mind as they say. I’m on to book 2 for the G.A.

This story was a fast-paced, action-packed ride from start to finish! The FMC is a fierce, independent badass who instantly pulls you in. There’s no shortage of magic or magical creatures—vampires, werewolves, and more. There’s a hint of spice and the potential for a slow-burn romance, which has me intrigued for what’s to come. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I’m definitely continuing the series!

There is a fine line in UF between smart ass and annoying. Reagan sailed over that line and not even the dramatized adaptation could save it. Callie & Dizzy were cool.

I stumbled across this audiobook during an Audible sale and I am so glad I took a chance on it. The story is like a fun, supernatural murder mystery. The FMC is powerful and funny as hell. You can’t help but cheer her on. The production of the audiobook itself is marvelous and the narrators were absolutely fantastic. (If you’re a Fourth Wing fan, it’s the same narrator that played Xaden…🔥just sayin’)

Not sure about this version.
I was really excited about the dramatised version of this book, but after listening to it, I'm not sure anymore. It was really good, don't get me wrong, but i feel the background music was not well chosen for some parts of the story, and the sound effects were a bit much at times, too.
I will try a few other dramatised versions of other books, but, at the moment, I prefer a normal duet instead.
Apart from that, the actual story was really good. Our FMC has a secret. Her magic is unique, and she is a badass, sarcastic, and amusing bounty hunter. There is no real spice here, just some tension. fingers crossed 🤞 next book will be a bit more spicy.
