Jack, a rabbit, has found the perfect gift for his sweetie but delivering it to her it without its challenges. The detailed, colorful illustrations with four enormous double gatefolds add to the fun. In turn Jack received the perfect gift from his sweetie.

This is a gorgeously illustrated book and a fun story, just in time for Christmas. The panoramic four page fold out scenes are busy and you can look at them for a long time, just pointing out all the details you see. The only issue I had with the book is that the fold out pages are a bit cumbersome for reading at bedtime and the pages are starting to get additional folds and creases from inattention from other library patrons.

Such a sweet story of friendship and giving. Beautiful illustrations. Makes for a great read aloud for K-3.
