I am the first person to rate this?? How odd! It's classic Fiona - funny with fantastic characters. I was charmed from the first page. Bonus points for having a heroine run her own IT company and then trade it to own another company. The hero actually fell for her demonstrably excellent business acumen before he'd let himself fall for her. Awesome.

(Annoying quibble - the cover doesn't match *anything.* I know, that's common, but she has ginger hair and a major plot point included a green vintage dress. They didn't even try!!)

This was a great clean romance. Alice meets up with her brothers ex-girlfriend. One thing leads to another and Alice, who is trying to start up a vintage clothing shop, gets roped into helping the friends brother throw a party for his company while incorporating her vintage clothing as well as helping a local charity. As preparations for the party begin, she starts working very closely with Cameron, the brother. She quickly learns that he is the king of his world until they are alone and then he is the same boy she knew years ago. She has had her heart broken before, so she is NOT going to fall in love with Cameron.

Sweet story about a girl who's always felt second best so has decided to settle for what she can get, and a guy who has made himself a tycoon so he will never be bullied again. They knew each other back when, before they finished school. Now they get acquainted again through coincidence and a slight bit of plotting from a relative. Very strong overtones of Cinderella. I enjoyed it. Good read.

I really liked this story. must say its one of the best harlequins ive ever read. it was like a rendition of cinderella mixed with ugly duckling, and that there's always that one special person for you out there :-)

Should have been more engaging. I'm over the women who don't have goals or who's love lives are the center of their lives.

Dragged. The characters had no chance to fall in love. Didn't make sense overall.
