Finally an indepth bio on Jeanne Eagels. I enjoyed learning more about her but I really thought there'd be more info on her possible drug overdose/death. That is the only disappointing part of this book. Reading this made me long to be in the audience during her performance of Rain. Too bad she never got the chance to play her famed Sadie Thompson in a film.
