Jackson was certainly an interesting character. Deeply flawed and very complex, this book did a good job of discussing his actions, while at the same time not quite scratching the surface. A fascinating read.

I was disappointed with this one. All the other books in this series are so well written with fantastic facts highlighted in the margins. The facts in the margins were good in this one as well, but several sections of information were wrong. Having read several books on Andrew Jackson I can spot an obvious inaccurate fact, and there were a few. Either that or all the other books I read were wrong and this one was correct... but I doubt it.
