A highly inaccurate vision. A grumpy writer. And a corpse. Welcome to Starry Falls. Running from the mob can be murder.
Each COZY MYSTERY in the series can be read individually so dive on in! Confession. I’m no psychic. But I can sort of see the future—albeit not accurately. And you better believe, I’ve never let that little detail stop me from prognosticating my way into a pickle. So when I ticked off the mob, the feds, and my wily ex, I decided to take my Uncle Vinnie’s advice and start over with a new name and new hair color while relying on my old shtick—getting my visionary wires crossed and putting myself in danger.
Fall is in the air, and to celebrate there’s a masquerade ball at the Mortimer manor where socialites and dapper men abound. But when someone drops dead in the middle of the dance floor, fingers are pointed at everyone—including the deceased. Shep is as ornery as ever. Whoever keeps sending me those threatening notes has grown far more brazen, and my insights to the future have not only increased, but I’ve just seen a glimpse of something that I want no part of. With my luck—that will be the only vision that comes to fruition just the way it’s threatened to.

It’s been a little while since I dived into this series, but that’s due to catching up on so many books and a few issues personally… but either way, I was so excited to dive back into it and see what both Addison Moore and Bellamy Bloom had come up with this time to amaze us… and I’m so impressed. What happens in this book I honestly had no idea, I never saw the twists, the turns and everything else, both Addison and Bellamy had me lost for words with how they wrote this book. They have not disappointed me, and I loved every minute I spent reading all about Bowie’s latest adventure. I have no idea where both Addison and Bellamy come up with these stories, but they are both extremely talented and I love getting to read every word they write. I couldn’t fault this book, if anything they both just made me love Bowie and Shep more and I can’t wait to see if they are destined to have a future together or not… However, knowing both Addison and Bellamy, they’re both going to make us wait a hell of a while until we get to have what we want, they just love to tease us. Seriously though, this book was such a great read and I can’t wait to see what happens next for Bowie, because right now things are only just getting juicer. I’d recommend reading this series because these two authors are just incredible with the work they put out there for us to read.
Bowie is doing everything she can to enjoy life but also keep herself hidden away from prying eyes and truthfully for the most part things are starting to work out for her… However, when both her and Shep started receiving notes from someone, she starts to become unsettled… Afraid of being caught out by the Mob and the Feds, she does everything she can to keep her identity hidden, but she’s in for a shock when Shep manages to track down the recipient of the notes… Meanwhile, Opal’s son is in town and he’s hosting a rather grand ball, with all of his friends in the same room, secrets hidden away, what will become of the night when one of them makes a dramatic exit for the very last time??? Will Bowie figure out the truth and how will things go when she realises who’s been watching her???
Bowie Binx (aka Stella Santini) is the manager of the Starry Hills manor café in Vermont. In fact, she's hiding out from the New Jersey mob since she double crossed them. She's made a life for herself here. But, she's always worried that someone from her past will find her and gets more frightened when she starts getting strange notes. Bowie's also an amateur sleuth and has solved a couple of murders. She has a paranormal ability and she's classified as transmundane. She sees visions of future events. The only problem is that these short clips can be exactly what she's seen, or can have an entirely different context than what she expected. Right before the Masquerade Ball, she has one of these visions. Then, someone's the target of a murderer at the ball! There's a crazy cast of characters that work at the café and become Bowie's friends. There's also a handsome and sexy author who just happens to be her landlord. This book can be a standalone but I really think you would love the series. The first two books will give you more insight into Bowie's life and details about each of the other characters.

Like the book description says, Starry Falls is the home of a highly inaccurate psychic, a grumpy writer and a few corpses.
Bowie Binx, aka Stella Santini, was running from the mob, hoping to find a place to start a whole new life, when she broke down in this little town. Now, after deciding to stick around for a while, she's made some friends. However, Bowie's extended visit to the small town seems to be getting more deadly every day and it's seem that around every corner there's a new mystery to solve, some much more dangerous than others. Case in point, a body dropped right in the middle of the dance floor at the Mortimer Manor Masquerade Ball. Will she find the killers before the wrong person gets fingered for the crime? I'm not telling! ;)
This book gives us some of the same magic as the previous books did. However, there are more surprise, some much more shocking than others. The mother/daughter duo of Addison Moore and Bellamy Bloom make a perfect writing team and this book is proof. Give the series a chance and I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.
An Awful Cat-titude is the third book in the Meow for Murder series. Although this is part of a the Meow for Murders series it can be read as a standalone with out the feeling of being lost in the storyline. Bowie is on the run from her past when her car breaks down on the edge of Starry Falls. She has now been in Starry Falls for a while, she has a job a place to live. Opal, the owner of the cafe she works in, son comes back to town to see if he can us his mothers house to host an even he has been planning but lost his venue at the last minute. Things are going smoothly until one of the guests comes stumbling out of the crowd holding her neck then tumbles to the ground. And of coarse Bowie is there front and center to see this all go down. Which makes her feel like she need to make sure to help find the killer and solve the crime before the killer gets away with it. Bowie seems to be finding herself on the verge of trouble every time she tries to solve a murder so Shep asks her to bow out. Will Bowie step back? Or will she continue with her pursuit of justice?
Bowie Binx, has fallen into her new life in Starry Falls. Between her new job, friends, and a frustratingly handsome writer things seem to be going good. When another death occurs, cryptic notes appear, partial premonitions, and her thirst to take a killer down, Bowie’s new life is anything but ordinary. I found my self laughing so many times this round, as the words formed mini movies in my mind imagining Bowie and her shenanigans. Addison and Bellamy prove over and over again that they are a dynamic writing duo. This series just solidifies that opinion for me. Although rbis can be read as a stand alone, go back to book one if you haven’t. By doing so you gain so much familiarity with the characters. It’s so worth it!
Bowie and the gang do it again. While Bowie is still hiding from the mob and the Feds she has managed to get herself stuck in the middle of another murder mess. Of course, she is also going to investigate it and see if she can solve it so that the heat is off of her and her new friends.
Bowie and the gang get up to all kinds of crazy adventures as they investigate. Will Bowie find her murderer in time???? What kind of plot twist await us in this book??? Trust me there are some awesome twists at the end of this book that you will want to read and find out about. This was the best yet of the newest series. I am so ready for the next book to see what happens next.0

Bowie Binx is back at it again. After another murder happens in her new home of Starry Falls, she can't help but try to solve it. With the help of her new bestie Tilly and her rival Regina. Her special transmundane ability to see pieces of the future is not very reliable and usually causes more trouble than it helps. Will she solve this murder before her sexy detective and author Shep? Or will her past catch up with her? Bowie has been receiving letters and gifts from someone saying they know who she really is. Stella Santini, a woman on the run from the mob and FBI. Will it be time to run again??
I love Starry Falls and this whole series! I’m this book Opal’s son Jackson makes his appearance. After his venue falls through he decides to hold his masquerade ball at Mortimer Manor and low and behold a dead body appears. Shep is determined to keep Bowie out of the case but not as determined as Bowie is to solve the crime.
This book truly is a murder mystery with a side of humor. A good time will be had by all!

Bowie Binx is a spitfire of a girl running from the mob and the feds. When her beat up Honda Wanda leaves her stranded in a town called Starry Falls she quickly "falls" in love with the town and the people! Unfortunately this town has become a hub for homicide and Bowie can't seem to stop herself from trying to help the hot detective in town solve the newest case. This is the third book in this series. I am hooked! If you are looking for a fun murder mystery I would highly recommend starting with book one now so you can catch up quickly!
Bowie Binx is at it again...having more unreliable visions of the future. When Starry Falls has a masquerade ball, one of the guests drops dead. Will Bowie listen to Shep and bow out of this investigation or will she try to find the murderer? Between the stalker sending her threatening notes to uncover her past, and another murder investigation, Bowie will need all the help she can get to solve the crime before she has to run again from her past. Another fabulous read from the duo Addison Moore and Bellamy Bloom!
That was just so much fun! I’ve found that this series feels a lot like reading a Keystone Cops caper: there may not be any relation to reality but it’s simply too enjoyable to miss out on. I love the authors’ ability to take pieces of scenes that will happen and turn them into misinterpreted mayhem. And I’m loving the possibilities that open up in Bowie’s life thanks to the couple of twists this book ends on.
Stella Santini is on the run. She is from a mob family in New Jersey. She and her then boyfriend skimmed from the mob's money laundering they were running and before they knew it both the feds and the mob were after them. She blamed Johnnie and left him. Her Uncle Vinnie had documents made up for her and bought an old Honda and told her to go to Canada. The car broke down in Starry Falls, Vermont. Then the fun begins.
I just love this series! The characters are fun and the story pulls you in and you can't stop turning the pages. There are parts where I literally laughed out loud. There is a little romance and a lot of amateur sleuthing that usually leads to trouble.
Can't wait to see what trouble Bowie and her friends will find next. Also looking forward to more Sexy Wexy.
Still not as good as book 1, but it was better than book 2. We finally get a kiss between Bowie and Shep. I'm used to reading romance, so this has been a little frustrating for me.
I wish there were less characters when figuring out whodunit. I don't know about anyone else, but it gets a bit confusing.
Bowie and her bunch are just hilarious! You can totally picture them like the jersey girls! The mystery was fun and interesting like always and you just might get a happy ending I know I’ve been waiting for!
This series just keeps getting better and better! I about lost it with the llamas part. Sugar and Cinnamon, omg! You have to read this just for that part! So funny! I loved the ending of this one so much, too! So great!
Opal's son hosts a party, where a woman drops dead. Of course, Blair feels the need to investigate in parallel to the police. Funny scenes when her plans don't go as planned.
Another laugh out loud installment to this series. With just enough suspense, and a few surprises along the way, I was hooked. I cannot wait to continue the series. I really like the chemistry between all the characters, but especially Bowie and Shep. It's written so well, I can feel the chemistry coming off the page. I'm looking forward to seeing their relationship progress. I can't wait to see how the future unfolds in Starry Falls.
Addison and Bellamy bring us back to Starry Falls and our new favorite spit-fire transmundane!! Bowie is back and the whole gang is with her! A side note of stalker, and ANOTHER dead body! When Opal's son Jackson takes over the mansion drama ensues! When a healthy popular socialite ends up dead, there are plenty of suspects. But, Bowie isn't about to let the killer get away. Two crazy surprises in the end of this one!! Don't you dare miss out!!
