Rate this book
I’m a succubus on the run.

What do you do when your mind bender, obsessive ex drains you of power because of his desire to own every part of you?
You run and hide.
Lust gives me power and I need it like I need oxygen, but my secret haven is nothing like I expected. My new home centers around a place I never would have expected to generate the lust I need.
Church.
I need to lie low, but how can I when the Pastor is so deliciously tempting?
And what do I do when I discover the truth behind the blue eyed, blonde-haired boy who blushes when I speak to him?
As I juggle my hunger for lust and my growing attractions, I am slowly realizing this church isn’t what it seems either.
My ex who betrayed me is still under my skin. I can’t shake the feeling that he’s involved. He wants every part of me, but could he accept I need more than him?

Could there be a world where I somehow get everything that I want?

This spicy novella contained a surprising amount of emotional depth for its length. I tend to have issues with the way succubi are written in stories, with such an emphasis on their need to feed equating only to intercourse, but the FMC in this story was able to survive on the lust surrounding her as well as what she obtained from the physical contact. This was the best example of that demon-type I have read.

This is a scorching, fast-burn story. It contains light MM scenes as well as MF, MFM, and MMF, with suggestions of more. On top of the succubus FMC, we get a budding incubus with fancy peen, a slightly unhinged/possessive demon in the mix, and a pastor who takes his role of shepherd to his flock a bit differently than most.

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. I hope that Mae revisits these demons in the future.

I thought the storyline was pretty unique! It could have been spicier but the spice it had was appropriately plot driven. Putting a succubus into an Uber religious environment? I never would have thought of it but it worked so well!

Happy Ending RH!

I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical because this book didn’t have any reviews yet before I noticed it was a new book. I really don’t read books without some kind of review but took a chance on this one. I’m so glad I did! It instantly jumped to one of my favorite RH books. The character growth and relationship development is incredible! The book didn’t seem rushed or that there was all spice and no story. It was a perfect combination of both. I read it in one sitting because I just could not put it down.

My own quick synopsis: (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Aellera is a succubus who escapes to a religious church in order to hide from her jerk of an ex who wants her only to himself. She ends up finding another incubi who has no idea what he is. The story continues with her trying to show the incubi who he really is. Since he is from a very religious family he thinks that the incubus side is a curse and goes against his god, thus pushing Aellera away.

The story ends with a satisfying happy ending. I look forward to reading other stories from this same author.

I really liked this book. I went into it without knowing what a succubus was but to my surprise I really enjoyed reading about them.

If you don't know what a succubus is here is a little text I found on wikipedia: A succubus is a demon or supernatural entity in folklore, in female form, that appears in dreams to seduce men, usually through sexual activity. According to religious tradition, a succubus needs semen to survive; repeated sexual activity with a succubus will result in a bond being formed between the succubus and the man; and a succubus cannot drain or harm the man with whom she is having intercourse. In modern representations, a succubus is often depicted as a beautiful seductress or enchantress, rather than as demonic or frightening. The male counterpart to the succubus is the incubus.

This book is about a succubus named Allera who ran away from her ex who has drained lust from her. She ran away to a religious town to regenerate her lust where she met a pastor and a blonde haired boy who filled her lust. Of course religious people don't approve of what succubi do so she couldn't openly be her self.

I really didn't mind the religious cult in this story. Usually I don't enjoy reading about religion or anything related in a book but this time it really fitted the story and didn't bother me as much.

the only thing that bothered me was that the people excluding the FMC didn't really have a personality. Most felt a bit bland to me which I always find a problem in novellas or other shorter books. That's why it's not a five star for me.
But this steamy novella did what it was supposed to do and did it right. I am curious to read other stories by this author

I wanted to like this book a lot more than I did. Unfortunately, beyond featuring a succubus as a main character, there wasn't a lot in it that appealed to me. With one exception, the sex scenes (which were really the main point of the book) were fairly average, and I didn't feel like there was much in the way of plot, character or relationship development going on to tie them all together into a book.

I did like the overarching plot thread of but it felt like that was all laid on pretty thick with a very heavy hand, so I felt like I was being lectured at by someone I already agreed with - and realistically, I can't see anyone who doesn't agree with the perspective reading succubus pr0n in the first place.

Also, there were a fair number of typos and editing issues throughout - not enough to stop me reading, but enough that it was obvious the book hadn't been professionally edited (or if it was, Ms Pierce probably needs a new editor)

So all up, I've given it a generous 3 stars, and I don't think I'll be trying anything else by this author.

Woah, I am so here for this author! I seriously LOVED it!

Forgive me father for I am pure sin!

Now I'm not one to give spoilers so you wont be getting that from my review, but I will say you need to read this book! If you love a dirty succubus, mind benders, and and incubus who has no idea they are what they are, then read Bound in Sin!

FMC is cool charismatic, and proud of who and what she is. She loves to be filthy with lust, but she's thrown for a loop when she meets one of the MCs who not only doesn't know but struggles with the how he craves such dirty filthy things when he is supposed to be a son of the lamb. Don't worry his priest to his church tries to help him.

Gotta say, I didn't want the story to end, and would love more of this world! I'm giving it a 4 outta 5 on Spice & a 5 out of 5 on story!

Naprawdę odzwyczaiłam się od angielskich romansów paranormalnych. Zapomniałam jakiego typu jest to literatura.
W sensie zbyt dużej ilości średniego smuta i średnia fabuła.

Holy sweet taboo I loved this lol Sure there were some errors, but I was easily able to ignore them and enjoy. This is full of 🌶 you don't want to miss. A succubus hiding with a very religious family to refill her power reserves that her ex took from her. This church is not what it seems. Neither is the pastor......
This has mm, mmf, mfm.

I've been wanting to try this author and figured this would be worth giving a go. It was a fun, short, steamy read, but ultimately didn't live up to my expectations. Still, if you're after a paranormal romance with succubi, incubi, demons and a religious cult, you might be interested in this one.

Better than expected, with more character complexity than this genre of smut usually gives. Reminds me of Canadian TV show "Lost Girl" with succubus melodrama. We know it's trash and we tune in ever week, lol #supernatural

"fricking" loved it

This novella is not perfect, there are a few spelling errors and such but for some reasons, I loved it and already read twice!!

such unique setting, characters and dynamic and my only complain is i wish this was a full length book. This novella got me emotionally invested in kellen's growth and I wanted to read more about them including pastor young!!!! hello!??? submissive pastor is like god sent!

I really hope mae comes back to this story and release a full length book because I know it will be fantastic!
