Book safety, content warnings, and tropes down below.

The world would be a happier place if people didn’t feel constrained in how they loved.

The second half of this book feels quite slow, but I still really enjoy it. The pack grows and the relationships start to feel settled, and it’s nice to see the character development for the FMC when she starts properly healing and begins her life after so much trauma.

There’s a lot of funny and sweet moments in these books, and they’re pretty spicy too with great group scenes. The polyamory feels so right for all of them and I enjoy seeing all of the relationships among the men in in the pack as well. There’s two guys who are only with the FMC, and these relationships feel just as solid and genuine.

Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys hurt/comfort, omegaverse, MM and RH/poly.

Cheating: No
Other person drama: Might be a gray area. Scenting is a big deal with alphas and omegas, and the pack is polyamorous. Savo (who is introduced in book 1 and has an immediate scent connection with Cambrie) is added to the pack in book 2. They have oral sex without the rest of the pack knowing, and they bond out of necessity and for safety reasons while Cambrie is held captive. The rest of the pack are okay with it when they find out. I’m very sensitive to any kind of cheating and I thought that entire situation was fairly okay. It’s quite different from a ‘normal’ contemporary romance.
Breakup: No
POV: 1st person, multi
Genre: Omegaverse romance
Pairing: MMM, MM, MMMMMFMM
Strict roles or versatile: Versatile
Main characters’ age: FMC: 18, MMCs: 30, 35, 30 (maybe), 39, 21, unknown

Happy ending: Yes

“I won’t do anything that will harm you, Cambrie, even if it means protecting you from myself. So many people have stolen choices from you. I can’t let myself be one of them.”

“Do we have lube?” Nixon asked. With one question, everything came to a halt. “We have to have something we can use,” Spencer said, his voice tinged with worry. “How many times do I have to tell you, Spence? You don’t leave home without lube.”

“So let’s go. I hear you’re already demanding for grilled cheeses to be made.” “I did not demand,” I countered. Savo and Marius both looked at each other over my head, making me smack Marius in the chest. “Stop it right now. You’re making me sound like a cheese tyrant.” “You said it, not me,” Marius stated, tossing up his hands in surrender.

Genre and tropes: omegaverse, Why Choose, political snoozefest, bodyguard, kidnapping

I really enjoyed part 1, and this was a hugely disappointing and boring end to the duet.

It started off in a fairly promising manner - there was a "surprising" love interest, a kidnapping, an awful butler, a worried pack, some spice and intrigue. Then, it all went to shit and whilst book 1 built up interesting alphas and betas in the pack, and focused more on their relationships and pack dynamics, book 2 is a longwinded political snoozefest.

I do enjoy worldbuilding and I love how societal issues can be brought up in omegaverse novels. But this is not it. Throwing over governments can be fun and exciting to read about, but again - this is not it. This was boring, boring and I'll say it again: boring .

I was very disappointed in this book and I wish I had DNFd like I wanted to instead of pushing through. It was not worth it.

I don’t know. I enjoyed it. Had issues with the fact that she’s basically a child. Lack of credibility with the instant infatuation to her. But still really likable.

This one dragged. Honestly Cambrie’s story should have been told as a stand-alone. This second installment was really difficult for me to get through. Like, do you remember being in grade school and learning about the different sections of a book? And how the last part is the “falling action?” It honestly feels like the falling action is spread out over the last 200 pages. I cannot identify the climax of this book (though, to be fair, there are a substantial number of climaxes in this book, amirite?). Ugh, FOCUS! The beginning of the book is engaging and fast-paced, but then it slows WAY down, and that’s backwards from how I like my stories to flow.

Also, I felt like Cambrie has very little growth. She is kind of infantilized and there were moments that honestly felt like the men were her dads. I truly don’t mind age gap romances at all, but Cambrie feels like a child to me. That changes my viewpoint on this one.

I also think the men lose their individuality in this book. Overall, I am giving it a solid 2/5.

DNF 50%

this was rough. I truly tried, I don't like to do an author or book like this but ooooo boyyyyy this one should've stayed in the wattpad drafts.

It really seems like its the relationships that are the key issue here. I mean the plot is there, truly. I like the world and political system. But the relationships are just so weird that it makes it like chewing gravel to get through. This is really not an RH, or at least how it should be. She doesn't choose one guy, but her guys have full on separate relationships. Fully developed relationships that go beyond what would be the normal MM additive in this genre. It really is more of a polyrelationship which just doesn't work for this.

I mean this with no respect, Cambrie is about the most annoying FMC I have ever encountered. Her trauma was really not explored well. It seemed like a good start in the first book and then when introduced to the guys it went to shit. Her trauma was more so used to infantilize her which added to the creepy factor with the age gaps. She is described as strong, but Cambrie would cry if her bath water was too warm (that is canon). She "speaks her mind" but in like really awkward ways and then immediately cries thinking everyone will hate her, but then these asinine guys are like "You are so brave speaking out against what is wrong, your strength is amazing." Cambries' "speaking out" is kind of like that old commercial with Hillary Duff about "When you say that's gay, do you know what you say?". Like the message is there but absolutely brutal delivery.

Peace and love, not for me.

So.
I did like this ending, but it was just a tiny bit..boring?
I don’t know.
I think, about 65% of the way into the book my mood shifted, and I was just ready for this to be over.
That’s not to say I didn’t like it or it wasn’t enjoyable, because I did, and it was.
I really enjoyed seeing the relationships grow and each individual person heal along the way with the support of the pack.
I liked the MM relationships and how well they were fleshed out alongside the relationships with Cambrie.

The sex was plentiful and sexy.
The plot was very politically charged and had some captivity and abuse at the beginning that was emoting charged. (So check TWs before going into this whole duet)

I don’t know.
The ending really tied a lot of things up and made it feel like everything clicked together.
I was just sort of done with the story before it was done with me.

🤷🏻‍♀️My reading moods have been so finicky lately, don’t take my lack of enthusiasm to mean this was a bad book, by any means.
It was good, and when my mood shifts in this direction again I’ll be sure to look into more by this author. Just maybe not anytime soon.

Fantastic ending for this duet. The 2nd book in the Knot All is Lost Duet answers questions that I didn’t even know I had. Cambrie and her Pack face their biggest trial when she is kidnapped. Secrets come to light and the Pack is ready to burn down the world in order to get her back. Savo becomes vital to Cambrie and her survival. Great development for both the characters and the story. I recommend this duet if you enjoy the Alpha/Beta/Omega dynamic.

Fantastic ending to this incredible duet!

Knot All Is Lost is a perfectly crafted duet with so many twists and turns and a complex storyline Cambrie and her pack really grow and become one in the second book in this duet. So many questions answered, so many truths brought to light, and so much character growth within the entire pack.

I couldn’t get enough of this epic story. I have to admit, I am not the biggest fan of omegaverses, but this one has definitely made me think twice! It’s one of the best ones that I’ve read, and I definitely recommend this duet. You will fall head over heels in love with this story, and you won’t want to stop until it’s all over.

Cambrie and her men have stolen my heart! I can’t wait to see what is in store for this epic world.

fantastic

This book quickly starts where book one finished. Cambrie has been kidnapped, leaving her pack wanting to burn the world done to find her.
The twist, suspense and intrigue that’s written into this storyline leave you on the edge of your chair and not being able to put the book down to the very end.
Love the characters and their further development in this book, I’m new to reading omegaverse genre and I’m so glad I decided to pick up this series - it’s really fantastic and steps you through the whys/how’s etc of the omega intricacies.
The emotion and detail in this book was mesmerising, the corruption and greed aspect was also quite a great angle for the duet.
Overall a great book.

While I truly enjoyed this series. There was one thing that truly bugged me. The FMC is a sheltered, abused 18 year old girl. She would not be waxing poetic about a group of men she just met hours and days ago. The way the FMC would talk about her feelings was so out of character with her age, her background, and her education it completely pulled me out of the story every time she did it. It was beautiful monologues of her feelings, don’t get me wrong, but I wished the author had stayed true to the character and not just put a bunch of flowery language in there. What 18 year old says “they can join us in reveling in the love we make”?

2.5

I finally got around to reading this one and was so sad it didn’t meet the expectations I had after reading the first one.
The first one was great, I absolutely loved it.
IMO, too much emphasis on the politics that I was ready to throw in the towel. There is enough of that IRL.
While I was glad Savo joined the rest of the guys just seemed to merge together 🤷‍♀️
I’m gonna erase this second from my mind. And picture their HEA at the end of book 1

Very emotional, action-packed, and steamy! I loved that this duet has lots of actual plot instead of just being all steam. (The steam is 🔥 tho!) Great conclusion to the duet!

Great story!

It was a great story through the two books. I enjoy this author very much. She writes complex stories with many primary characters, and they are each unique stories. This duet was no different. Cambri & pack experienced many different scenarios that I felt like I witnessed. And it was very, very steamy. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥/5

Pretty good.

The romance portion of it moved a little bit too quickly, but it was indeed a good story with emotional parts that choked me up a bit.

Even after part one, and everything that I had issues with there and here in part two, I just loved that book. I'm still standing with my statement, that the timeline everything happened should have made longer. That way, a lot of the issues would be solved or at least the actions and reactions of the characters would have made more sense.

Like, if Cambrie had more time to overcome her trauma and stuff like that, it would become more believable. Instead, it seems everything happens in around a month. I have already mused about that part in part one. And gave my piece of my mind about that enough. I don't even mean it negatively, since it's the authors' story and I can understand why the author wrote the way she did. But she had still other options to counteract a lot of those negative reviews, I have read.

It's just difficult to understand how Cambrie overcame her trauma so quickly. And at the same time, there is a group of older men, and she ends in a relationship with them. Even though, they don't do anything heinous to her or even utter any intention to exploit her innocence. But I can understand why some people are not okay with it. Even if I don't agree. Because as I said, I don't get the vibe at all that they want to harm her and try to help her in every way they could. And we have to consider the society of that world. And there it is totally normal to have young Omegas, since they need a pack for their heats and there is a need for children and a lack of Omegas.

And generally, age doesn't matter to me, as long as they love each other and are happy with it. It's not my life or my choice, so why should I bother with it? Only because she is 18, doesn't mean she is a child and can't decide for herself. I'm living in Germany, and you are legally an adult, when you turn 18. Sure, you don't know everything yet and are still navigating how things work. But in general and from my own experience as a woman, women are often more mature. Sure, Cambrie doesn't know much, but still she is her own person and is not forced to do anything by them.

The only things I'm not really sure about are that the guys talk about their own trauma/issues and anxieties, which aren't mentioned in depth. It's never truly said, what they all experienced. Other than on a surface level. And some are more explained than others, either. So, Marius had experienced trauma with what happened to his sister. But it is only mentioned in part one, and I didn't really see his struggle in any interaction with Cambrie other than the first meeting, where he couldn't control himself.

Spencer mentioned, that he has anxieties as well, but I don't know anything about him. His background was the least elaborate. I don't know anything about his family or where he came from. Oscar's story is mentioned again, but it isn't elaborated on much. We know he felt lost after they abandoned him, and that they turned away from him because of the illness and him losing his voice. Nixon is one of the more elaborated ones, too. Because of that, he was one of the most cohesive characters to me. Same with Savo. He may not have told her everything and what had happened, but you can imagine what impact it had on him. Rafael was again more on the sidelines. We get told about his late beta partner, but I'm not sure where his hesitation/insecurities came from. He took the longest to bond Cambrie. So, in general, I had wished for more explanation.

Another part is, that I wasn't happy to learn about the countries in the second part. Of course, the entire second book is full of political topics. But until this book, I didn't even know that they live in Oscad or have different countries and in what world it was playing. And that there are differences in Omega biology and customs is, in my opinion, an important part, that helps to navigate and immerse myself in the book world. Like that Shearia is the only place that have female and male omegas. I didn't know that it was unusual, since it wasn't mentioned, and Alton has Phillip as a male omega. No one said anything. Or why is it, that only Shearia has that genetic makeup? Maybe there will be a book about Shearia as well, so that there would be a better explanation.

Furthermore, I noticed another issue with Cambrie and Oscar. After her abduction, within a week she could understand Oscar with no issues. Sure, she has lessons in sign language with Bohdi, Oscar and Savo. Even though, it is barely shown/mentioned. But I can't believe that you are able to understand so much after one week. It's too sudden. Again, something that a more spread out timeline could have solved better.

Another thing I kept thinking back too is, why did Yoram try to buy Cambrie from her adoptive father? I mean, he said he was her biological father, and it was always said he has a claim on her because of that. Her adoptive father hasn't that claim. And how did he even know that Cambrie is his daughter, before he abducted her? Why didn't he try to get her pack sooner? When she was a child? Again, about Yoram it was said, that he is powerful, and he had so many people behind himself. He had men who have abducted her from the pack. Why didn't he do the same to the adoptive father? Makes no sense to me.

Not truly an issue, but suspect to me is, that they care much about having lube close by, but I have yet to see it mention, that they clean themselves up. Or sanitize their d*cks after some anal play to make sure, that nothing from the intestinal parts end up in places, it shouldn't be. Like the mouth or Cambrie vaginal areas. Sure, could be that there is no health issue in their biology, but yet again—it was never said anything like that.

Last point for me is the epilogue. I do enjoy seeing the future and changes. Though the most was already mentioned before the epilogue. But most of the stuff is told passively, and we don't see how those classes and stuff work in practice. And then Cambrie is pregnant. And if anyone has read some of my other reviews, I don't like it, if things are mentioned, but not shown. So, I would have appreciated it to know the family life after the boy is born. And maybe who the biological father is?

So, overall, I can overlook the issues, since I was really invested in the characters and the story. I loved the dynamic of the pack and it was interesting. It may sound like there are a lot of negative things in the book. For me, I didn't really see it, during the read. It's just what I wrote down while reading and thought back to and reflect it to you. It's my way of telling what I like and what didn't work for me. Generally, to process the book and the feeling it gives me.

3.2 Mediocre Stars

This book is a significant improvement over the previous one, mainly because Cambri gets a new Alpha—Savo—who is everything you could ever wish for in an alpha. He’s a cinnamon roll: protective, possessive, and utterly obsessed with his omega. Savo was the saving grace of this duology.

That said, the dynamics of the relationships still left a lot to be desired.

The males in the pack remained far more focused on their relationships with each other than on their omega. Cambri never got their full attention. She wasn’t the “meat” in the sexual sandwich—she was more like the bread, and occasionally, just the lonely side pickle. The MM relationships and sex scenes were clearly prioritized throughout the story. Even the two straight guys had their moments with the FMC cut short so the author could show us the men having sex.

I didn't like it at all.

I don't care what people do in their real lives, but I don't have any interest in reading about guys fucking each other and excluding their female. A little MM can add depth to a story, but here it felt excessive, and Cambri was reduced to a plot device—someone whose presence only seemed to inspire the guys to be better for their male lovers.

If you’re interested in MM romance but aren’t quite ready to leave female characters entirely behind, this might work for you. I was looking for a reverse harem romance. This book doesn't qualify as a reverse harem at all.

The formatting is horrible. I tried to get through it. And there is a lot of detail throughout the entire book. I know a lot of people like details but I don't know I'm not a details kind of girl. Unfortunately you don't find these things out until you open the book and start reading and then my OCD takes over and I have to finish the book.

It was a good enough story that I read it. And I read the sequel. Which is this book. I don't know if I would recommend it to my friends because I know that my friends are like me and preferred to have distinct paragraphs and proper grammar.

Some of my my friends pointed out that maybe she had a language barrier however the the author is from Arizona so that throws that out the door.

No more time no more it was very political. And I'm not really into politics. That might be another reason I didn't enjoy it.

I gave it to stars because regardless of the fact that myself not liking it, the author did work really hard on her book. And I think that deserves at least two stars.

I am going to be brutally honest, but the fmc was not needed in this series at all. Every other member of her "pack" but two had an mm relationship with one other beta. To the point where she even mentioned that they helped her with her heat before going back to THEIR betas.

I would like to say I don't mind mm in an RH, but this is the perfect point to prove why I don't like it. This entire book could have still been written without the fmc and it would have been the exact same story.

OK, I have to give this one 2 stars. I wanted to give the first one 2 stars, but went with 3 simply because I did like the story. But all the issues that I had with the first book are present in this second one. Plus, there were editing issues and I just didn't like this one as much.

First, to start with the editing/typo/grammatical issues. I'm pretty sure this isn't a comprehensive list, but these were the biggest ones that jumped out at me enough for me to make note of them.
- Marius was called Magnus @ 27% into the book. Really? Can't even get the name right?
- Spelled Rick's name as Risk @ 32%. I get that Risk wouldn't be caught by spellchecker, but the editor should have caught this.
- Missing a space between 2 words @ 63% and again @ 85%. These would 100% have been caught by the spell checker.

Cambrie was written as too much of a child in these. I can see that the author tried to age her up a bit by having her get sassy and yelling at the men sometimes, but that didn't feel right, either. She was just an odd character, overall, and I haven't really felt that way about a main character before. The age gap didn't bother me; I do like age gap stories. But when she is written and seems so young (so much younger than her 18 years), it feels icky, and it makes me honestly wonder what all these men actually see in her.

Another big problem I have with these is that everything seems to happen over the course of a couple weeks. With this much action and so many people involved, it wouldn't have hurt to spread things out more and let affection and feelings actually develop.

It did feel like things were spread out during the last half of the book. The end drug out for so long, I got seriously bored. Things got to a pretty good ending point, and I thought it was about done, but then I realized I was at only 70%. Nothing really happened during the last bit, either. I get that you want to tie off a lot of loose ends, but we don't need every detail of it. All of the exciting things were in the beginning.

In my opinion, the way things progressed with Savo just didn't feel right to me. I get that he needed to be there for her, but it didn't need to go down the way it did. I would have rathered she were able to bring him into the pack first.

Aaaaand my biggest issue with these books... all the unnecessary exposition, especially in conversation. Nobody talks in paragraphs in conversation (often), and it felt wrong. It was as if the author has all this information and story that she is going to give us, whether or not it fits into the flow of things, rather than letting it come up naturally.

I am very conflicted. I did like the story, but I don't want to subject myself to this writer's style any more, so I am not sure if I want to continue to the next one. I doubt I will, but for now it is in my Kindle list, so we'll see.

Knot All is Lost Part 2 wraps up the Duet in stunning fashion. There was plenty of action and steam but also had touching emotional moments as well as a few revelations. Truly an excellent read.

Cambrie had touched my heart from the beginning with her strength, the way she overcame her struggles, her coping with the aftereffects of years of abuse, and her willingness to communicate openly was incredible. Cambrie was so sweet and caring, she had such a good soul, which was even more apparent in this book. Cambrie continues to grow and learn, including learning to stand up to people in this one, sassing in her alphas, and winning even people moreover.

The guys are a mess, they have fallen for Cambrie very hard and are extremely upset that she was taken and doing everything in their power to figure out how to get her back by working together and putting plans into action. Her capture puts into focus how much they love her and each other. While they were all good friends, some lovers, they acknowledge that Cambrie helped them come together more as a family, she was the missing piece. It's touching how much they love her and then adding Savo into the mix made me very happy.

A lot of the omegaverses I read have a crappy government but the story doesn't have a real focus on the politics or laws, well Liz decided to do just that. The story had a lot of talks about the government (Marius was a government leader), the corruption within the government, laws, history with other countries, and more than a few shocking revelations. There's not only talk about change but they take action as well. The plot twists that Liz came up with were genius, seriously I didn't see them coming and all the questions get answered even the questions we didn't know we should be asking. You may think you know what's gonna happen but assure you, you don't.

Elizabeth Knight did an excellent job with her contemporary omegaverse duology. I easily connected to the characters, I loved Cambrie and her guys, it was so easy to care about them. Liz knows how to write a story (hence why she's one of my favorite authors) Cambrie's story was very compelling with plenty of twists and turns. After all that Cambrie has endured, I am so happy that she got her happy ending. Liz isn't through with the world yet, Knot All is Ruined is coming soon. I'm very curious about how the omegas in Asturg are treated so I can't wait for this one.

Part one of this duet was such an incredible read with a devastating and surprising cliffhanger that I was so excited for this release. I feel like part one was more focused on the building of the relationship and getting to know the characters instead of the major problems happening in their country, however, part two seems to have switched those two topics around, having this book getting more into the political aspects of the issues Cambrie and her men were facing. That's not to say that we didn't get the good stuff in this book. Believe me, the character and relationship developments were still there. Top notch. But with everything happening all at once, priorities were often shuffled into what seemed necessary at the time. It's reality and I appreciated it. I feel like the many moments we did get even with the chaos going on, were more meaningful, more eye-opening in some cases, and brought bigger connections amongst the pack as a whole.

The issues we saw in the previous book were just the tip of the iceberg of all the craziness happening in Oscard. Yoram spread himself far and wide trying to increase his power, and he surely did, but it's always funny to see the people high up with the most power and influence think they are above everything, that they are untouchable and incapable of being beaten. It was very exciting to see Cambrie's pack slowly pick away at everything he was involved in and bring all the pieces of the puzzle together. And boy was it a complicated puzzle! Knight did a great job with her story building to create a background story that was full of surprises and jaw dropping connections.

The ending of this book was perfectly done, bringing everything to a clean conclusion and giving the HEA that Cambrie and her pack fully deserve. The same goes to the citizens of Oscard. So many changes were made and all for the good of everyone and not just the people in power.

Kidnapped right out of her nest. Cambrie has been taken and her men are frantic to get her back. Her cage is much nicer than her basement prison but she is a prisoner once again. This time her imprisonment comes with etiquette lessons and educational studies. She is to be molded into the perfect omega and given to a pack for political reasons. She's not alone, however. She has an unintended ally who is determined to keep her safe and return her to her chosen pack. And he plans to go with her.

This book didn't live up to the first book but it was good. Once again, her trauma wasn't addressed. A second imprisonment and the punishments would have led to flashbacks and possibly a total psychotic break. I won't go into this any further because it was determined in book one, this author is not trauma-informed. I will encourage her to research before ever writing about any subject she is unfamiliar with or working with a critique partner who can research for her or validate her subject. This book didn't live up to the first because it was more about action than connection. It was non-stop activity with plenty of sex mixed in but that left little time for downtime. The little moments cement relationships, not the physicality. This is especially true when there are as many men in multiple relationships. Each man needs singling out and made to look special. The moments that work best for me are the grocery trips, the stop at the shelter, and the newsstand. I was sorry we never revisited the library. The 3 people who showed kindness to Cambrie and played a role in saving her life needed more attention.

This is the second book in the Knot All is Lost Duet, which is the first duet in the Knot All Omegaverse series.

Tropes and themes include:
✨ Omegaverse
✨ Why choose (mmfmmmmm)
✨ Hurt/comfort
✨ Mental health representation
✨ Age gap
✨ Dystopian society
✨ Mute MMC (w/ sign language representation)
✨ He brushes her hair
✨ Bond marks

Rating: 4/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nicknames: Princess, Little Dove, Cambi, Little Star, Sweet Heart, Little One, Keksik

The Lovely: As with book one, I loved all the emotional feels and hurt/comfort in this book, especially around the 40% mark (iykyk). The FMC is becoming stronger and more resilient but her alphas and betas are still right they're, caring for and supporting her. It was beautiful to see and had me swooning so often.

The Mundane: This is a *large* pack (five alphas, two betas and one omega) and I unfortunately felt like some for the MMCs were kind of cast aside in this book. I missed seeing the FMC spending time with them on a more personal and individual basis.

Recommendation: It was exciting to see how the author built from the cliffhanger ending of book one - I certainly wasn’t expecting to see it resolved in that way. Overall, I found the ending satisfying and, much like the MMC’s, sweet. If you like a dark story/society but with a sweet pack that gives you all the feels, I think you would like this book.

In this amazing conclusion to the Knot All is Lost duet, we're taken for a ride. We pick up right where book 1 left off, in that dang cliffhanger. I loved seeing how much that Cambrie, Bodhi, Rafael, Oscar, Nixon, Marius and Spencer have grown and come together as a pack in this book.

I love omegaverse worlds, and Elizabeth's was no different, I fell in love with these characters, plus there's so many twists and turns. This complex storyline will keep you on your toes and falling in love with these amazing characters just as I did.

In this second book we get questions answered, and a few more hard truths coming about. The guys are currently a mess, and they're working together to get their girl back with them. I love that we see them work together and see they finally came together as a family. Cambrie is their missing piece and it was so good that they came together and they've added Savo into the mix.

The one thing that really stuck out to me with this story was that the "underlying" part of the awful government wasn't just glossed over. We hear about the crappy government, and part of the focus is on the politics that need to be changed in the omegaverse world. The action that's taken to change laws, and the corruption that's within the government. The amazing plot twists were out of this world, I was definitely drawn in for the story and couldn't put this book down! I was on the edge of my seat, and even when I thought I knew where the story was going, it did a 180 and went in the opposite direction.

If you're looking for a different omegaverse story, this is IT for you! Look no further than this amazing story.

Well that was uneventful

Hmmm.
This was a decent book. I’m being generous with the four stars to make up for my review of the previous book. This series was my first introduction into the “omegaverse” and the previous book made a lot of assumptions that I wasn’t aware of. However this particular book took the time to explain exactly what the designations and how Omegas in general worked. Which was a huge blessing overall.
Firstly, EVERYTHING, gets tied up. Almost too neatly. At one point I thought she was going to magically reappear at the library and offer to treat her former friend Peggy to lunch… that’s how utterly predictable and formulaic this was.
Secondly, what exactly happened to Cambrie’s fathers? Was she present for any of that stuff (trials or witnessing their punishments)?
Thirdly, I thought it was incredibly odd that Cambrie is very young and at no point did anyone say hey… let’s hook you up with an older omega so that you can get some questions answered or to find out how you can be a bit more protected considering all of her alphas are SIGNIFICANTLY older than she is.
All in all I did finish this rather quickly and was just disappointed (again) that more time wasn’t given to Cambrie and her struggles.

The second part of this story is absolutely captivating as more secrets are revealed alongside some much severely hidden truths about omegas around the world. The political transformations and the discovery of unknown shady deals come to light in the most sublime moment. Of course, there are numerous challenges along the way as the characters try find some much needed answers that would shed some light on the real situation within the government as well as an awareness about the world around the surrounding premises.

Cambrie has transformed from an innocent, severely damaged young lady to a woman, who has found her purpose in life. The support of her pack and their admirable devotion to her, has enabled the FMC to find her inner strength to pursue her dreams and put her heart and soul into making them a reality. I did appreciate the tenderness among the entire pack and the friendship and support that they provide for each other.

Overall, this duet was a delight to read and from what I understand there are more stories within this shared world, so I am thrilled that there would be more engaging stories.

Romantic suspense, political corruption, kidnapping, separation and oh so much more.

I enjoyed this read. I got a pack element that I normally do not see in omegaverses. Pack growth beyond the addition of the omega. That is truly unique to me at this time.

The suspense in the first half of this book had me carrying around hatred for a number of people then hope that they might flip. The last half was back to my sweetverse and we see what the pack accomplishes and fixes the mess made by the antagonist.

This book added the body guard trope to all the other elements I outlined in in my review for part 1. The HEA has me smiling. I was thinking what “Knot All Is Ruined” could be about but I think I have a good guess with the epilogue. I hope the author explores the other country as well.

But Ug! Between the two, I don’t know what’s worse being property or live stock. Before reading the first half of this book I would have said livestock for sure but to be controlled that much had my blood boiling and I like a good dom/sub book too!
