The second book in the Stiletto Girls series was just as good as the first. These books are best read in order and can’t be read on their own. We met Josie in book one, and she’s the precog in the group. She can see future events, but she rarely shares her visions because they’re subjective and can change, sometimes for better or worse. Tanner Wiley is part of SIA (Specials Intelligence Agency), and he is “the invisible man”. He’s got it bad for sexy, nerdy Josie, but he doesn’t dare make the first move. Trust Josie to catch him completely off guard when she approaches him and asks for his semen …. um, help. Even though her request is rather strange, it’s a great excuse for him to stay close to her. I loved Josie’s confidence. Even though she knows it’s probably a bad idea to get romantically involved with Tanner, she doesn’t deny her gut feelings and just goes with it. She’s good to her core and willing to sacrifice herself for the greater good. She’s tough as nails when the situation calls for it, but she also has a vulnerable side which easily makes her my favorite Stiletto Girl. Tanner was so adorable in this story. Usually the quiet, soft-spoken SIA agent, his crush on Jodie made him seem like a teenager trying to ask a girl on a date. This story takes place around six months where the first book left off, so their chemistry was very believable – “six months of prophetic foreplay“, as Josie put it.
The suspense portion of this story didn’t disappoint either. A new bad guy, a new threat, and a mystery surrounding Josie’s past all made this a fun and thrilling read. The rest of the gang also made an appearance, so there was more meddling and needling going around. I love their interaction with one another. Each one of them has a huge personality, and they often clash, but you can feel the strong bond that keeps them together and watching out for one another. If there was any character I could do without, it would be Tara. I am having a love/hate relationship with her, but for the most part I just want to throttle her. The ending was as I expected, only it felt a little rushed in terms of finding the antagonist and eliminating him. Tara’s new ability played a major role, but it was a little bit over the top for my liking.
This series has quickly become one of my favorite series because of the tough girls and the men who respect and love them. Lexi Ryan has a great sense of humor that shows in the dialogues, and she writes some scorching hot love scenes. Mark my words, the scene on the beach … HOT! I can’t wait for the third book, and I really hope it will be all about Fernandez.

This is the second book in the Stiletto Girl's series and I received this book as a review copy from the author.
Book 2 starts a few months after Stiletto's INC. We stumble right into a very uncomfortable situation of Jodie asking Tanner for his sperm. Hilarious situation I tell ya. As the first novel this one is quite funny and has some quite embarrassing moments for us to enjoy.
Josie had a hard childhood and suffered too many losses. Her ability of seeing the future sounds like fun but in my eyes it's a real curse. How can you stand to see bad things happening and not know what to do to prevent it? I can hardly imagine how that must feel but Ms. Ryan described it nicely and I really felt for Josie. Her attraction for Tanner is really obvious but for her there are a few things to ponder. Is she just attracted to him cuz she sees a hot and naughty future of them both getting close and personal? Does she want the things she sees? Is she attracted to him cuz she sees herself in his arms and can feel the attraction of her future self?
As you can see this is a highly complicated life she has there.
Tanner has one of the coolest abilities ever. He can make himself invisible and OMG think of the possibilities. So many things you could do. I already have a list of things in my mind I would do first...LOL
But back to Tanner. He had a really bad youth and still has commitment issues cuz of that. His family sucked and in my opinion he can be happy to be rid of them. He's also a rather alpha male type. That seems to be a pattern in Ms. Ryan's books. His character has quite some matching attributes to Darian, our hero of the first book, but he's also a bit different so I didn't really mind that.
The relationship between this two developed rather slow in comparison to book 1. I missed Paige's empath ability a bit cuz it made book way more steamier than this one. But we get this one scene on the beach when Tanner uses his gift and OMG that was hawt.
Again in this book the side characters are wonderfully developed and I have a few candidates for future books I would love to read. Paige's little sister was a bit annoying from time to time but after all she is a teen and that's exactly what those are for: getting on your nerves.
The main plot was gripping and the suspense was good too. I wanted to know how all this will work out so bad. I couldn't put this book down and now I so want to know how the story will go on. I'm officially hooked.

This is the 2nd book in the Stilettos Girls series and it is so cool. I loved this book and I thought it was an upgrade from book 1, more and even better. I did really like the 1st one, but this one is just amazing. Don't worry so much about being the sequel, you can read as a stand-alone novel and not feel lost really easily.
Tanner and Josie are such cute and lovable characters and they go through so much together. Their chemistry is unbelievable and it definitely got me all hot and bothered hehe. The plot is great, full of action, fun and I found it very well done. I love Lexi's writing and witty repartee between her characters.
I have to bring attention to one of the hottest smut scenes I've ever read. Tanner's super power is invisibility and at one scene he actually has sex with Josie in the middle of a beach, whilst she is laying at a chaise lounge. That was so freaking hot! Seriously guys, you gotta read that one LOL.
There will be two more books in this series and I'm so happy about that, I really want to read more of these characters and this world Lexi Ryan has created.
If you are a paranormal smut fan, you are going to love this!

More of our famous Stiletto, Inc girls in action relaying on their supernatural powers to solve an uncertain and deadly future for herself and the handsome and powerful man of her dreams. In the mean time trying to find out the truth about her past, and her complicated and unresolved possible present reality. The main characters are interesting, complicated, powerful but yet human in their love and relationships with each other. Just when you think you got the plot figured out, Miss Ryan takes you on another direction with her twists and turns. Flirting with Fate is a riveting, complicated, nerve racking and exciting story.

Lexi out does herself in this one. The Stiletto girls really come to live with love, marriage and seeming more like real women instead of just bad ass bitches with no true feelings. I almost think there could a retirement issue.
