Sullivan’s restaurant is a rousing success, and he’s celebrating with a huge New Year’s bash. While business is booming, his personal life certainly is not, until he meets theatre star Quinn Lawrence. Who knew he’d meet a man with a vice for smooth, dark chocolate and rich, silky cream so eager to sample both?
Rhianne Aile has an unhealthy relationship with her computer, iced tea, and chocolate. Growing up, she split her time between Oklahoma and Chicago, making her equally fond of horses, skyscrapers, cowboys, and men in well-tailored suits. Facilitating retreats for women and authors keeps her traveling enough to stay happy.
Sullivan Dunkel's restaurant Dark Chocolate has had an amazing first year, and on New Year's Eve they are celebrating with a reservations-only crowd. When Sullivan finds his normally highly capable waitresses an excited mess, he learns that one of the restaurant's patrons is the actor Quinn Lawrence who is in New York for a production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Since Sullivan's life has centered on Dark Chocolate for so long, he isn't familiar with the popular actor yet from the moment he sees the man, he is mesmerized. Quinn is the first man to hold Sullivan's attention captive since he opened the restaurant, and Sullivan is determined to let go for a change and just feel.
This is a yummy story that is a truly visceral experience. It focuses on the immediate attraction between the men that leads to highly erotic sex. The set up is quite fun, and while the story focuses strictly on the physical relationship that is forged between the men, it hints at quite a bit of possibility for the couple. The imagery and attention to detail is riveting and it makes for a wild ride from beginning to end. My mind was filled with images of these two men, in particular the contrast between Sullivan's dark skin and Quinn's light complexion. I will never be able to look at chocolate fondue again and I found myself just a bit hungry after finishing this tale. I really enjoyed this story and am quite anxious to read more stories from both authors!
Sullivan Dunkel owns a restaurant, Dark Chocolate, in Atlanta. On the one-year anniversary of its restaurant, exactly on New Year's Eve, a special guest visits his restaurant, the handsome blonde Quinn Lawrence, an actor who is in the city for the play of "Streetcar Named Desire". Sparks fly and Sullivan finds that how dark chocolate is just perfect for silky white cream ...
It's a quick short nice story. Not so much I can say because this is like one of those encounters where the ending is still open for any possibilities. The sex is hot though, gosh, chocolate ... yum!
Short but sensuous story of restaurant owner Sullivan and actor/patron Quinn who meet at Sullivan's restaurant Dark Chcolate on NY Eve. Sex in the office and then back at Quinn's hotel, followed by brunch cooked personally by Sullivan for private dining back at the restaurant the next day. What the guys do with melted chocolate is sinfully delicious. A fun story.
Short story of Sullivan, owner of the restaurant Dark Chocolate, and Quinn, a celebrity, who meet on New Year's and work towards being a couple. Sex, of course, has to include chocolate!
