Angie Daniels grew up on the South side of Chicago, Illinois. At a very early age, she spent nights creating soap operas with her younger sister until the two drifted off to sleep. Never did she realize that her longtime dream to become a published author would someday become a reality.
In 1999 Angie decided it was finally time to return to her love of writing. She took a year off to write her first book Intimate Intentions, which started off as a simple romance novel and later escalated into 542 pages of romantic suspense. After two submissions, Angie was offered a four-book contract with Genesis Press and her first book was released in 2001. In 2003, she also signed with BET Arabesque, and Kensington's Dafina imprint in 2004. In 2006, she added Parker Publishing, Aphrodisia and Harlequin Kimani Romance to her list. In 2010 she will release her twentieth novel. Angie currently resides in Missouri.
This book was ok. I found myself skipping through a lot of the pages. The main characters continuously referred to their past and why they cannot pursue a long term relationship - enough already. The love scenes were average; nothing to brag about. I love romantic novels but this one did not hold my attention. The best scene in the book was when they were in the cabin.
Before I Let You Go by Angie Daniels was a great love story. I was really wanting Kellis and Diamere to rekindle their relationship. A few editing problems but it did not detract from the overall storyline. Love those Beaumonts! Great job Angie.
Although it was great that Kelly and Diamere reunited after so many years, the story took way too long to get to the point. They shared a bed so much more easily and quickly than they shared how they felt about each other. Kelly and Diamere wasted so much time going back and forth with why the relationship won't work. Enough already!
I love this series so much love ! Good sex but better loving each other so much, At 70 I’ve only felt this kind a love once’s and the pain was so great when it ended that I never got over it, now it’s just a dream.
I enjoyed reading this book & I loved the characters. I've smiled, laughed, and rolled my eyes plenty of times lol. But I'm happy the main characters got their happily ever after
This was an excellent second chance story. Kelly and Diamere were meant to be. I really felt bad for Diamere because be was lied too for six years. I am glad Kelly gave him another chance.
The men in this series are hot. Kelly (Kellis) went with her brother Mark and sister-in-law Essence to the night club Ja'net in Philadelphia where she reconnected with Diamere after seven years. (He just divorced Ryan after the twins were not his own) Kelly always loved him but he just wanted a sexual friendship after being hurt. He was a very successful club owner with three clubs in Philly she a teacher. The continued his pursuit of her introduction her to his cousins Jade Jabarie and Jaden and their wives. Kelly went to her grandparents beach house to spend a weekend Diamere followed her there, he told her he love her and wanted to spend the rest of her life with her. They got married at the family hotel and expect they first child in seven months. Good read.
