Camille Kendall looks soft and sweet, but nobody knows more than she does about raising horses. And now the Virginia heiress intends to move heaven, earth and her new neighbour, Adam Carrigan, to make her Montana ranch a success. She is more than ready to take on the challenges of the wild west as well as the macho Montana man who's playing every dirty trick he can to run her out of town. What neither Camille nor Adam realise is that the sparks sizzling between them could leave one of them burned...or set two clashing hearts aflame!
This book had too many problematic elements in it for me to enjoy it. First, the men dressed up as Indians to scare the woman off her property. There was also a slur used in this book. Second, the first time they had sex they were completely wasted and she woke up in a ball sobbing the next morning because of what happened. Third, one of the times they had sex she thought she was dreaming and woke up to them actually having sex. A lot of the sex scenes in here felt like borderline assault. I enjoyed the end of the story, but overall there were too many horrible aspects to this book.
