Loved this 3rd installment!! It was the perfect book to read at the time I read it, and I couldn't put it down. Silag's characters are addictive and the story offered a great escape - can't wait to read more of her work!

Experienced is the final instalment of the beautiful Americans series. I really enjoyed this series; I read all three books in a matter of hours. If you enjoyed the clique, gossip girl or the a-list series, you'll enjoy this series too.

One thing I really loved about the novels, is that it's set in Paris but the American students are required to speak French with their host families.. and the author actually has many French phrases/convos in the books. It's refreshing!

Now onto the four main characters (the series includes all of their POVs); Zack, Olivia, PJ and Alex.

Zack is the "in-the-closet" sassy and sarcastic gay boy from the South. He's not ready to tell his parents about his sexuality and he's extremely happy to be out of his town. I'm still not sure whether I liked Zack's character or not. I completely adored him in the first novel but in the second novel his character became really annoying and flaky. He's sort of redeemed himself in the third book but it's not until the very end. However, I can honestly say the best thing about Zack is his beautiful, beautiful friendship with Alex.

Olivia is the Californian ballerina. She's talented, driven and bubbly. I like Olivia's character for a lot of reasons one of them being that she loves her little brother Brian, who is autistic, to the moon and back.. other than that, Olivia isn't really an exciting character. The way she handled her boyfriend situation(s) upsets me and maybe that's why I don't care for her character.

Penelope, more known as PJ is just one of those characters that you know you won't like from the get go. And I didn't like her.. not once in the whole series did I say "wow PJ that was a nice thing for you to say/do" or "wow PJ sorry your life sucks, i feel sorry for you."
No.
That didn't happen. PJ, to me, is selfish, immature, apathetic and indifferent. The author made her out to be this beautiful supermodel goddess like girl and IT'S SO HARD TO BELIEVE. It's not like she's a bitch but she is a bitch even though she may not realize it. I'll always remember how much I hate this character, honestly.

AH, ALEX. MY LOVE, MY GODDESS, MY QUEEN. I love Alex. Her point of view is first in the first novel and I instantly connected with her character. You might hate her just a tiny bit in the first novel but in the second & third novel the author really does my girl justice. Alex is the rich girl from New York, she's a knock out and she knows it ( or at least pretends to know it ). Alex is one of those dynamic characters that you learn to love. Her love for Paris is intense; mostly because she's half-French and she's been to Paris a million and one times. Alex is witty, funny, sarcastic.. she's just a queen, okay.

I don't know what happened but my intrest completely dipped for the last book. There wasn't really any action and I guess I was expecting the ending to be bigger.

The four teenagers are still causing chaos in Paris, as people are faking suicides, relationships are being torn apart, and friendships are being jeapordized.
This is the third book to The Beautiful Americans trilogy. As with Beautiful Americans and Wanderlust, I have loved reading Experienced! I love the mystery and suspense, and how it makes you never want to put the book down. Of course, what made it much more interesting for me was that I have actually been to the places in Paris that were described in the book, and it reminded me of my own personal experience there. I loved the ending and I thought it was a great way to conclude the trilogy, even though I am sad that there are no more books to the series. I recommend this book to anyone who likes non-fiction, mystery, and romance novels.

Meh.

This is the wrap-up of the Beautiful Americans trilogy, and it was mildly enjoyable.

However, for students that are in a prestigious school, you'd think they'd be a little smarter - I don't know - check the newspapers and Internet to see if the guy you think you killed is really dead . . . report sexual harrassment . . . I don't know - just a lot of dumbness running around in this final book - all of the drama could have been solved, if they had just used their minds a little . . .

Again, meh. I'd skip this trilogy unless you're really desparate. Didn't hate it, but certainly didn't love it.

best one of the series but obviously you need to read the first two to understand what is going on in the last one. wish I could have skipped over the first two and just read the last one
