Is she going to be his undoing? Their love life was wonderful and intense. Magical. But while billionaire Miles Sanderson believed in pleasures with no strings attached, naïve Brooke Wilde believed in love, marriage, and children. Though so different, they were inexplicably drawn to each other from the beginning. But when Miles broke his cardinal rule by falling in love, he realized it was time to end the relationship. I didn't really like it. There was alot of maneuvering and talk about money that made the romance part kind of trivial. there was also a little bit of violence, such as him grabbing her by the hair and him thinking about hitting her that was really disturbing. I just really didn't like it. was glad that it was a free book and i didn't waste any money on it.

It was ok! A lot of money talk made her come off as a gold digger! But it was ok!

This was just an eh read. I didn't like the heroine, to me she did come off as a gold digger and the money thing didn't make any sense because she didn't cash the check but yet she could still write her sister such a large check.. How? Their first meeting didn't really hold true. Walmart? This billionaire is buying his ex-mistress a scarf from wal-mart? Couldn't have thought much of her (disclaimer- I shop at walmart so this isn't a dig at walmart shoppers, just the idea that a billionaire would be buying a gift for his ex-mistress at walmart).. She wasn't very bright either. Instead of griping about the fact that he "made" you quit your job, and quit night school, go get a job and start your school again instead of running all over the world staying in luxurious hotels (the Hero spoiled her).. Later in the book they are staying in a tent, but yet the tent has doors, that they are able to slam, and showers. Since when? The writing was off and their were misspelled words but I think the worst thing about this book was at 80 something percent where the heroine then starts questioning if she is even in love with the Hero. How am I supposed to believe in that HEA now?! Needless to say I don't and it really ruined the book for me.

I really liked the idea of this story. I just think the story dragged out a little and that there were major flow issues as well as numerous grammatical errors. With a good editing job, this book would be really good.

My real rating is 2 1/2 stars.
My impression was that their relationship was immature and unpredictable, not really stormy.
And they talked too much about money. A dealbreaker for me.
