A lot of the sentences feel forced or unnatural. e.g. "He can teach the speech at the beach."

"The speech" is odd. How about He can teach a rhyme when he has time? The words on the chalk board are rhymes. They aren't a speech he's giving to his students.

"Whose shoes should she choose?" is one of the better pages.

This book would be useful as a review of the vowels and digraphs contained within, especially for parents and children. I see it having limited use in my classroom, as it has not enough repetition.

I absolutely love this book! Children learn rhyming words, how to combine them in sentences and understand the meaning of the words.
