Nothing special. Ash is still Ash from the 90's.. it's funny how they retconned the 1st movie as Mewtwo doesn't have flashback on that one (I understand Ash doesn't since his memory was wiped out back then.) The only thing that I enjoyed here was the awesome art from Momota Inoue.
