It was OK
The story was a bit boring with nothing really going on for me.

It had a good world building with a spanish pirate and a thirty year old woman that was sent back in the past. I do think that it is well written and the heroine and hero are good for each other but it had failed to grab my attention for me to like it. I also do find the heroine irritably naive in the beginning but I guess it is understandable since she was a rich woman and only knows business.

There were actions in the end and the beginning and ending was good but I feel that there are parts in the book that is not necessarily needed.

This was honestly such a fun read for me. Of course, this one had some... outdated beliefs. But I think overall, it was fun. I loved how messy the characters were. Like, I thoroughly enjoyed this one in one sitting. It was pretty easy to read and digest.

I recommend this one who wants a fun, pirate romance. 3.5 (or 4, who knows) out of 5.

2-3 stars. I finished it. she can't swim, he's a pirate, can you repeat it 400 times to Increase page count? eye roll. big props for writing about a miscarriage and how men and women can deal with it differently based on family and past traumas.
