Desire. Passion. Intrigue. There’s more than just cargo aboard the Star Line Express. Aymee Desryx should be on Choryn with her future life mate. Instead, she’s stowed away on the Star Line Express. Without a plan of any kind. First Officer Niklas Arca, whose fiancée ran off with his brother, is through with romance. But then he discovers Aymee hiding in the cargo hold. But Aymee’s not just a stowaway—she’s wanted on Choryn for high crimes. And Nik knows his duties to his ship must come first. Yet can passion ever be denied? Aboard the Star Line Express there's no cheating, no cliffhangers, and there's always a Happily Ever After.
Campy and the drama was fun. The writing is rough though. I’ll still try more in the series. The author didn’t quite nail the whole hate fuck vibes IMO, the bickering got to be too much at times.
Aymee is trying to escape her future life mate and the charges her planet placed against her. Nikolas is the first mate and trying to escape the fact that his fiancee ran off with his brother. Both have opinions on the others, but not everything is true. Will they learn to trust each other? Will they be able to escape death?
This was a steamy quick read. I did like the connection between the two, but definitely thought that Nikolas was full of himself. I liked the fact that Aymee didn't give up and continued to try to find a way around things. There was action, love and a happy ever after so overall I liked the book.

This is not my usual type of book to read but wanted to give it a shot. You never know when you read something new to you, it may just become your next favorite genre. The genre itself was okay but what I didn't like about the book was how repetitive I felt it was. The characters were okay but the storyline itself could have been way better for me. Now having said that, just because I didn't enjoy this one doesn't mean you won't. If you choose your books by what others think, please read all reviews as well as the authors synopsis. This may just be the next book you are looking for, it just wasn't mine.
This is a cute read. Aymee and Niklas meet in an unfortunate way that causes them both to be suspicious of one another. She’s stowed away on his ship and he’s the First Officer determined to lock her up. When the ship is sabotaged, they’re in a race to save themselves, but it seems the world is against them. There’s a lot of chemistry between these two and they’re both trying to fight it. I’m interested to see what’s next in the trilogy. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
First off, I did sort of enjoy the story, but there were so many problems with the editing, or lack thereof, that it was hard for me to get through. Missing words, grammar problems, sentence structural problems, list goes on. The plot was fine, but the dialogue was terrible, and character development was poor. This book really needs a lot of revision and improved dialogue. And more world building. I know it’s the second book, but I would have liked more information about the setting.
Not my usual read but it is well written and I liked it. Nice story line and plot. Characters well described. I was annoyed by all the repetition of things. It felt like filling to me. But apart from that a nice and enjoyable read.
I confess that I'm of two minds about this story. It definitely has its funny spots. On the other hand, what there is of a story is so weak and illogical that I felt like tearing my hair out. Oh well, it passed the time.
