This book is full of cheesy pictures illustrating very helpful things. Unlike all too many DIY books, this one seems legitimately useful. I feel better prepared to build my front porch.

Holy cow this is such a great book. This is an incredible and durable reference and instructional book for any homeowner. It has a great balance of well-illustrated and written instructions. It also teaches fundamentals, so that the reader can adapt to the situation at hand.

Helpful guides with pictures and step-by-step directions. YouTube is good but lacks the detail you can find in this book. The verdict is out re: if we can make it happen or not...ha!

Good book

Could use more pics. Very word heavy and detailed which is good, but needs, more pics, to keep one focused. Overall good for the, kindle price.But, then again one can get almost all this info in forums and, help sites but nice to have it, condensed like, this.Gave it a four due to lack of, pictures which details almost made than up fori t.
