I found this book to be very knowledgeable. One of the reasons I picked the book was , it explained how we think , one of them being our reaction to extreme scenarios . Example how we find answers , using mice and food the thought process was explained simply but effective the mice had to think carefully around the maze they were in ,in order to get their reward, in this case it was cheese .I got lost a bit as the book went on showing puzzles for humans but when explained verbally it easier to follow. The book seems to be out dated , being written in 1950 but it was still interesting to see how and what psychology was based on then.

Old but useful. Ok, boring at many places. Yet definitely gets you closer to the classical discussions, behaviorist discussions and many classic (old-outdated?) experiments are explained in detail. So the book is useful to have an idea about the archeology of modern discussions too.
