Dislikes:
The blurb is BS. This book may work for some, but it won’t work for everyone like the blurb implies. In the blurb, it says, “You are sure to double the speed of your reading almost immediately.” It wasn’t the case with me and I can guarantee other readers faced the same disappointing results as I did. Also, most of these methods won’t work “immediately.” People need to practice using them to see the changes in reading speed. I don’t appreciate being lied to, so I was less than impressed with all the false promises the author gave us in the blurb.
The text tells its audience to stop sub-voicing as they read multiple times, yet gives no tips or tricks on how to do that. People aren’t going to be able to turn the sub-voicing off with the flick of a switch given that they’ve likely been doing it since they learned how to read.

It was direct and to the point. The author didn’t ramble needlessly.
Many speed reading tricks were explained in a short amount of pages. Some of them genuinely helped me, so thanks for that, Jessica Foster :)
