STORY:
This was a light read for me and I really enjoyed it. I know this is a series with various authors, but I have not read any books in this series. I had to read this one because I am a fan of this author’s work. Ozzie is a felon with a record. Because of this, he keeps to himself and hasn’t got to involve with a woman because of his past and trying to focus on his future. Ginger, I must say I like her aggressiveness towards Ozzie and working to get him to go out with her. Ginger is a huge flirt, but while she is bold in some areas, I liked the way the author made her coy in others.


CHEMISTRY:
Love their physical and sexual chemistry. It fit so well, and it came through in this aspect.


SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
I enjoy Honey, Ginger’s sister. No big scenes but it was pleasant seeing her in certain scenes.


OVERALL, a light and quick read that involves a tattooed artist and the life of the out going girl.

Ahhh, this is finally Ginger and Ozzie’s story! It feels like forever ago that I read about Ginger prancing into Ozzie’s tattoo shop and saying she wanted him. I almost forgot about them...

So this happened back in book 1 released in January. Book 1 was Honey and David’s story. Honey is Ginger’s sister and she and David show up a few times in this book. We also get to see a bit where their relationship is now, which is pretty damn cool. I love when that happens.

Anyway, so Ozzie and Honey. Ozzie is 32, part-owner of the Cherry Bomb Tattoo Parlor and is an ex-con. He went to prison for 3 years because he took the fall for his brother. He feels no woman would want him and he doesn’t deserve them so he doesn’t even try. Then here comes 23 year old virgin, Ginger. She keeps at him and keeps at him until he finally caves.

Honestly, I didn’t really enjoy that Ozzie kept pushing Ginger away and reading about how sad it made her. Kinda felt upset about that tbh. Also didn’t care to read about how much Ginger flirted with all these other dudes and had a bunch of previous boyfriends. It was said that she did it because she was “insecure, the bigger sister” but I didn’t get the feeling she was all that chubby or anything. Her description made it seem like maybe she was 10-20 pounds heavier so I’m definitely not counting this as a curvy girl story, at least in my opinion.

Plus the whole emphasis on the fact that Ozzie was an ex-con but took the fall for his brother. Like... even if he did go to prison for something he did do, I would still think he deserved love. And even if he did do it, he could’ve changed for the better. It’s his past. Ginger can still be interested. I dunno, maybe a small little thing but it rubbed me the wrong way because it kept being repeated over and over that it “wasn’t his fault.”

Other than those minor things above, I still really enjoyed this and thought it was one of the more enjoyable books from this series.

427 First Ave. is the seventeenth book in the A Cherry Falls Romance series. It is a fun, flirty, energetic and smexy short story about Ginger and Ozzie. She is a young woman who is feisty, sweet, beautiful, and is not afraid to go after what she wants. And what she wants is Ozzie. He is a tattoo artist who is ex-con. He lives a quiet and uncomplicated life and he likes it that way. So when Ginger sets her sights on him Ozzie is not interested because of his past and he keeps pushing Ginger away. But eventually Ginger does get her man as after all this is Cherry Falls and everyone gets their own HEA.
I really love Hope Ford and I enjoyed this story. The writing is excellent, the story-line was entertaining and the characters are likeable, some more than others. This book is a nice addition to this series.

We finally get Ginger and Ozzie’s story! Ginger knows what she wants and she wants Ozzie. He’s an ex- con and tries to convince her that he’s no good for her. Will she listen or will she go ahead with her plan? This was a great read with an entertaining storyline. These two have awesome chemistry even though Ozzie tries to push Ginger away. WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.

Ozzie meets Ginger when she comes into his tattoo shop, Cherry Bomb with her sister, Honey 105 Desire Dr.. Ginger wants to get a tattoo and her sister tells her to only let Ozzie do it because he's best friends with her boyfriend David. As soon as Ginger sees Ozzie she wants her sister to leave so she can be alone with Ozzie. Ginger promises she'll be safe and call her later, after Honey leaves Ozzie asks Ginger if she figured out what she wants. Ginger tells Ozzie she wants him, he's not sure she heard her right so he asks her. Ozzie tells her she doesn't even know him, so Ginger tells him a few things about her. He asks her when she's done if she wants her tattoo or not, she tells him she knows what she wants then describes it for him. Ozzie asks her why she choice that and she tells him. Then Ozzie gets to work on her tattoo, Ginger asks him if he feels it too, and she asks him if he know they need to talk. Ozzie tells her he wants to get through her tattoo then they can talk. After Ozzie is done he wraps her up, she asks him if they can talk now. Ozzie tells her okay lets talk, he tells her he'll go first. He tells her she told him she wants him but he's not available, she asks him if he has a girlfriend, he says no, she asks him if he's married, he says no. Ginger tells him okay she gets it she not his type, but he tells her that's definitely not it. So she asks him what is it then, she ask him he won't be mad if she kisses him, then he leans in and kisses her. He tells her he shouldn't have done that and pulls away, Ginger tells him she wanted that. Ozzie tells her he's an ex-con, he was in prison for three years for drug possession, he's not dating but he wants to get his life on track. Ginger asks him if he was guilty, he tells her it doesn't matter she is out of his league. She tells him she's not out of his league, but he tells her there not happening and their not talking about this anymore. Ginger tells him ok but she needs to call her sister for a ride, Ozzie tells her he'll take her home. Ginger tells him this isn't over, she doesn't care that he went to prison, there's something between them. They talk on the way to Ginger's house, getting to know one another better. When they get to her house there's another car in her driveway and a man standing on her porch. Ozzie asks her what's wrong and she tells him it's her ex he can't take a hint. Ginger gets out but Ozzie doesn't pull away he can't leave her face her ex alone. Ozzie gets out and tells her he changed his mind he'll come in for a while. Ginger tells her ex she has plans, after they get inside and her ex leaves Ozzie tells her he needs to go. She thanks him and tells him she'll see him tomorrow. The next day Ginger spends her morning at the produce stand, her sister, Honey is helping and questions her about last night. Ginger doesn't know what to tells her she's not sure herself. Ginger asks Honey if she can leave a little early to take care of a few things, she tells her to go ahead. Ginger head to the tattoo shop, walks in and asks if Ozzie is busy. Ginger goes to Ozzie's booth and waits for him, when he comes in he asks her how her hand is. She tells him okay but that's not why she's here, he asks her why's she here. She tells him she came to see if and see if he wanted to go on a date. They tell Ozzie he as another woman to see him, Ozzie tells them to stop and to send his ma back. Ozzie's mom comes back and hands a bag to each of the men and tells them to eat their vegetable. The same thing that is on Ginger's shirt. Then his mom notices Ginger and he introduces them. Ginger tells him she knows who his mom is, then his mom realizes who she is. His mom asks her if she's here to see Ozzie, Ginger tells her yeah she just asks him out on a date, but he hasn't answered her. His mom asks him what does he say to the pretty girl, she tells him he can't turn down her offer. Ozzie tells her they talked about this but Ginger tells him she doesn't care about his past. Ozzie tells them he needs to get to work when his appointment arrives. Ozzie's mom asks Ginger if she would like to have lunch with her, so she asks Ozzie if it's alright. When he gives his approval they head to Bela's Bakery, they tell each other stories about her pawn and liquid store and Ginger's family and farm. Ozzie's mom tells Ginger what happened that sent him to jail, she tells her not to give up on him, to give him a chance. Later Ozzie's mom calls him, she tells him she's the one, then she tells him what they talked about. Ozzie tells his mom he's not ready to start dating, he needs to work through a few things, and he wants to buy a home. Later Ginger goes dancing at the Tipsy Cow, she goes once a week with her friend, Kaitlyn. When she finds out her friend asks Ozzie out and he turned her down, she starts thinking maybe he has sworn off woman. A couple of guys show up at Ginger's table and asks her to dance, she tells them to give her a minute. She calls the Cherry Bomb and asks for Ozzie, she tells him the reason she's calling she wants to know if he changed his mind. He asks her about what, and she asks him about dating, he tells her they talked about this. She tells him she gets the message she won't bother him anymore. The guys are asking Ginger if she's ready when she's hanging up the phone with Ozzie. Ozzie's in the middle of a tattoo, he promises the guy it'll be on him and he'll finish it next week. Ozzie head to the Tipsy Cow and when he walks in he spots Ginger right away, but she doesn't see him. She's line dancing and the guy that's with her keeps looking at her, but she not even paying attention to him. When she spots Ozzie she's in his arms in a second, she tells him you came and he tells her he needed to make sure she was alright. She tells him she's good now, she asks him to dance with her, so he does. They finish their dance and she asks him if he'll take her home, so he does. She asks him to stay, he does, then he asks her if he can kiss her. She tells him he can do anything he wants, they kiss and she tells him not to stop. He tells her he's not as he pleasures her, he tells her to come for him. He tells her he's got her, but soon Ozzie starts to realize and he asks her if anyone else has ever touched her, she nods her head, but he tells her he needs her words. She tells him he's the only one, she asks him if that's bad, he tells her no. Ozzie tells her she's his, and she tells him it's his turn. Ozzie tells her not tonight, not when she's been drinking. She tells him she hardly drank, he tells her they need to talk first. He tells her he needs to go but she make him promise to see her tomorrow. The next day Ginger has a smile on her face and her sister, Honey asks her about it. Ginger doesn't want to tell her so she tells her sister she doesn't asks about when she sees David's motorcycle in her driveway. Ozzie goes to see his brother in prison and they talk about what happened, they get things straighten out between them. Then Ozzie drives right to Ginger's produce stand, she's finishing up with a customer, when they leave he asks her how many times do customers flirt with her. Ozzie asks Ginger if she needs a full time protector, she asks him if he wants the job. He tells her he would, then he asks her to go out with him tonight. Ginger tells him she's about to close and asks him if he'll help her. So he asks her again if she'll go out with him and she tells him yeah but only him. As they close Ozzie tells her about seeing his brother, but she tells him she knows what happened and she's not leaving she still wants him. Ozzie take her home so she can change her clothes, she leaves him in her living room as she changes. Then she calls him when he walks into her bedroom she's standing naked. Ozzie stands and looks at her, she begins to cover herself but he tells her not to. Ginger tells him she wants him, he asks her if she's sure, she tells him she more than sure. He pleasures her then they make love. Six months later, they are out to dinner at the Fireside Bar and Grill with Ozzie's best friend David and Ginger's sister, Honey. When David gets up, he goes to one knee then asks Honey to marry him, she says yes. Ginger asks Ozzie if he knew about this, he tells her her did, she asks him why he didn't tell her. He asks her if she would have told Honey she says yes, he tells her that's why. They get back to Ginger's place and they sit on the couch, Ozzie asks her if she's thought about it, she asks him what. He asks her about them getting married, she asks him if that's a proposal she's in, but Ginger stops talking when he pulls something out of his pocket. She asks him what that is, he tells her her engagement ring, he bought it the first week he met her. He tells her he loves her he has since the first time he seen her, even when he tried to push her away, he can't image his life without her in it. He asks her if she'll marry him, if she'll be his queen. She tells him yes she'll marry him. Ginger tells him anything he wants she'll say yes to, she loves him and he tells her he loves her more.

(This is a complete standalone, but if you haven't read 105 Desire Dr, why not?!) Ginger runs a produce stand near her parents' farm alongside her older sister. She is young, bubbly and a huge flirt, but she has never felt a real connection with a man until she walks into Ozzie's tattoo parlor to get a tattoo and lays eyes on him for the first time. Ozzie is instantly attracted to Ginger, but he is an ex-con and believes a woman like her deserves better - if she would even stick around after learning about his past. But the connection Ginger and Ozzie share is real, and she refuses to give up on him. These two have Kindle-melting chemistry; Ginger is sassy, sexy and completely relatable, while Ozzie is sex-on-a-stick swoon-worthy. This is another page turner by the wonderful Ms Ford and I cannot recommend it enough!

She knew instantly that she wanted Ozzie - there was just something about him that called to her. Ginger is known for being friendly and flirty so she lays on her charm. It was really sweet and cute to watch her be confident and let Ozzie know that his past doesn't bother her. Ozzie on the other hand - because he's an ex-con he feels that he's not worthy of Ginger and attempts to push her away. Ozzie fell hard for Ginger but still didn't think he could be good enough. But he was so drawn to her that he couldn't walk away and eventually he realized that he could have it all with Ginger. I love her passion and assertiveness - it was the perfect touch that blended with a bit of vulnerability! Once they totally came together they amazing!

There's something about him that draws her to him.When Ozzie sees her all he sees is trouble coming his way. Ozzie tries to push her away by telling her he was an ex con even though he took the fall for his younger brother and wasn't really a bad guy. Yet that wasn't keeping her away Ginger still wanted to be with him. When she met his mother and they became fast friends he knew that he was in trouble. Its not long after that things heat up between them. Can Ginger convince him to take a chance on her? Can they have a future together?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I thought that this was a great book. We finally get Ginger and Ozzie's book and they were great together. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. Ozzie thinks that his past is going to push any prospects of a relationship away but when he meets Ginger, he finds out that is not true. Ginger is a sweet and flirty woman but she has never really felt a connection like she does with Ozzie. Ozzie tries to keep Ginger at arms length but Ginger is going to fight for what she wants and she wants Ozzie more than anything. I really enjoyed this book and I thought that it was a perfect addition to the Cherry Falls series. I would recommend this book and Ms. Hope as a great author.

Ozzie is an ex-con who did 3 years in prison for trying to protect his brother. He is really hesitant about starting any relationship because he feels like he's not good enough for them because he did time in prison. Ginger has an appointment with Ozzie at his tattoo shop and the connection is instant for both of them. Ozzie tries to fight the attraction and keep her at arms length but Ginger is sure enough about them that she doesn't care if he did time and is willing to put in the work. Ozzie repeatedly pushed Ginger away until he finally worked through some of his guilt that lead to his time away and he went after his girl. I really enjoyed how this story played out and that I'm glad that he didn't push her away for a long time.

I am glad that Ozzie has a chance to get what he wants and let his past not define him, but I didn’t really like Ginger’s strong-arm techniques. However, if she makes him happy, it’s his choice… at least I think she might let him choose?

The Cherry Falls stories are a lot of fun and written by a variety of authors. This one, as with the others, is about a wonderful small town with a lot of interesting characters who watch out for each other. This story is about Ginger who is getting bored and needs a new adventure. She is wild and loves to have fun, so she decides to visit the tattoo parlor to get a tattoo. Instead, she decides she wants the tattoo artist, who is trying to keep his head down, get his life organized and steady. The last thing Ozzie needs is a wild child chasing after him. Ginger is head strong and determined once she knows something is right for her. Well written, short, sexy romantic story with a big of an age difference.

I remember reading Ginger's sister story so I was familiar with her already. I struggled a tiny bit with liking Ginger. While I get that she was a flirt, she seemed to much for Ozzie. Kicking her sister out of the tattoo shop so she could be alone with him was annoying to me. She comes on to him so hard. He was so busy pushing her away all the time because of his past. His mom was funny, his brother has this hint of darkness that makes him seem a bit more interesting that Ozzie honestly and we only get to meet him for a short time. I love this author and will one click everything she writes but I had some higher hopes for this one based off the very interesting sounding blurb.

So much to like about this small-town Cherry Falls series! Ozzie is an ex-con trying to get his life together. His story is complicated so he's not ready to add a woman to his life, not sure whether she could handle his past. He doesn't know how determined Ginger can be. She comes in for her first tattoo and feels the mutual attraction between them. She's not afraid of his past. She knows right away that Ozzie is different and she could be the one to help him heal. Will he give them a chance? I like this short romance - woman makes the first move, dual POV, likable characters, protective man, both with insecurities, great family connections, considerate and sexy, HEA insta-love entertainment!

This book was so good! I also felt it was quite emotional, as in I could feel what they were, and it was moving. Hope Ford wrote a really great book for this series.
Ozzie just out of prison meets Ginger and it's love at first sight even though Ozzie is hesitant to pursue her at all.
I loved the way Ginger worked and how the circumstances made things happen. I really liked Ozzie also, the poor boy fought so hard with himself, you have to empathise. I found the characters just wonderful and the writing great especially the dialogue which was fun and fresh. Great job Hope Ford!

This ditty was a made for reading in the spring! This has a great story told about two people who seem lost in their own worries only to come together and be lost together. I enjoyed Hardin he came off as being kind and sexy with a dirty mouth that will make you swoon! Millie knew she was not like her parents, she loved the smell of dirt, that should have been their first clue. Honestly to say they knew who she was was the million dollar question that would have gone unpaid! I adored this story and these characters! I am on the lookout for more from Hope Ford!

Ginger is a girl that knows what she wants and after feeling an inexplicable pull towards Ozzie, she decides she’s going to have him and nothing - not even him - is going to stop her. Ozzie thinks that Ginger deserves more than an ex-con, but nothing he says seems to ward her off. But is that what he really wants? Short, but well written read with nicely developed characters. Definitely worth your time!

Ginger is a flirt, but only Ozzie has sped her heartrate up. Ozzie runs a tattoo parlor and has a record of jail time. This storyline shows that the characters do not look behind them, but forward. Second chances are worth so much more when someone really gets to know you. Loved the characters and the storyline. A few twists here and there to keep the tension up. Could not put this book down. Well done ending.

This one is good but I liked Honey’s story more. Make sure you read “105 Desire Dr” before this one. We meet these characters in that one. Ozzy was missing something for me. I feel like we only knew a few things about him. Ozzy is a momma’s boy, tattoo artist and he was in prison. You can tell he’s a sweet man but I just didn’t feel the connection between him and Ginger. I wish they had a sweet moment when he tattooed her rather then her just wanting to jump his bones right away. It was an okay novella.

I received this as an arc for my honest review

This was a great story. I have read a couple of the other books in the series and I really like the feel of them. This one was especially good. A woman who knows what she wants and a who thinks she is too good for him, I really liked that combination. It probably has to do with the fact that I loved the flawed hero, and Ozzie was just the right kind of flawed. I definitely want to read more books in this series and more books by Hope Ford.

What a sweet story. One fes guilty for things that weren't his fault. The other overcompensates for her own insecurities. This story really touched my heart! It was a well-developed story with loveable side characters. The main characters suit one another perfectly and their chemistry is off the charts! I have been a fan of Ms. Ford for a while and this is just another example of why. Well done! A must read!
