2 stories in one collection about the same shifter wolf pack.

Set in Montana. Werewolf Vonda Diaz is very lonely as well as being alone so when she meets the hot sexy rancher, Tom McGowan, she tries to avoid her lust for him. But the two are thrown together when Tom's daughter is kidnapped by a werewolf pack and they go and get her back. There was way to much telling then showing in this story, but I did like Vonda's POV moments because they were so clueless and we learn about the werewolves as she does.

Wolf Mates (second story) The pack leader that we meet in the first story, Margie McLean is a kind stern Alpha pack leader who has been single for a long time when Zane Moskos shows up trying to kidnap one of her new members when all hell breaks loose because there is another Alpha coming that abuses his magic and powers to enslave his pack. So there is battle and building trust.

Two very short stories set in the same world, I think that this author could have put them together to beef up the plot because there wasn't much characterization outside of the main folks in the story. Nice start to a new shifter cosmos.

I enjoyed both stories in this book. There is plenty of action and suspense as well as passion all mixed into a good ol' mystery. Bentley gives readers a delightful twist on the traditional werewolf story by having female alphas, which in itself is awesome! She also gives us a human male that knows nothing about werewolves but she gives us a werewolf male who recognizes his weakness and lack of experience and is willing to follow his alpha! These stories are fast paced, it doesn't take long to read at all and leaves you wanting more! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys werewolf stories!

I only read the first of the two stories. It was fun, but not really unique.
