Reborn! Vol. 15: Zero Point Breakthrough Arrives!

Akira Amano is the author and mangaka of the shonen manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Amano began in 1998 with a job at Weekly Young Magazine. She also held a job at Shueisha Publishing Co, Ltd.
In 2002, Amano participated in a contest for aspiring mangaka and was one of the lucky winners, with her comic Monkey Business published in Young Magazine.
In 2004, she finally found success with the humourous and classy manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (or, for short, just Reborn!), and that thanks to her readers' support. This new manga was advertised more and more in Shonen Jump and became a hit. Two years later, her manga was made into an anime series by Artland studios.
Her ideas for Reborn!: Amano had some crazy ideas to entertain readers with. She came up with weird characters to add spice to the humour, a story written especially to be unique, and fast-paced action.

La batalla por el anillo del Cielo es impactante, la locura de Xanxus vs. La fe de Tsuna.
Ambos dan todo de sí.
Los guardianes de cada anillo también están en peligro, la fuerza de los equipos los hará salir adelante y demostrar quienes deben de ser los legítimos dueños de los anillos.

Reborn!, Vol. 15 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (126–134) of the on-going manga series.
The tankōbon concludes the Varia arc. The battle for the Sky Ring starts, and both Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada and Xanxus use different flames to fight. Meanwhile, Kyōya Hibari sets the other Vongola guardians free in order for them to start facing the other Varia guardians who were freed by Xanxus.
Overpowered by Xanxus, Tsuna performs the Dying Will Zero Point Breakthrough, a technique created by the first Vongola boss that allows him to absorb all of Xanxus' flames. Tsuna once again uses the Zero Point Breakthrough to freeze Xanxus, and discovers that he has already been frozen once by the Ninth boss.
Mammon and Belphegor try to unfreeze Xanxus by giving him the Vongola Rings, but the rings reject Xanxus since he was just adopted by the Ninth, and thus does not have Vongola blood. The Varia tries to call their other companions, but they are all defeated by an unknown person.
This tankōbon is written and illustrated by Akira Amano. It concludes the Varia arc as the battle for the Vongola Rings finally concludes. The battle of the Sky Ring continues throughout the tankōbon, which pits Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada and Xanxus together. The tankōbon explores much of the back story of Xanxus and gives an intriguing cliffhanger of the person or persons unknown who has defeated the rest of the Varia.
All in all, Reborn!, Vol. 15 is a wonderful continuation to a series that seems really intriguing and I can't wait to read more.

February 1, 2026Saw this at the library and snagged it, was feeling nostalgic. Loved this series in my high school days. The art style in the manga is light years ahead of the animation so it was cool to see Amano go all out

June 11, 2010Reborn! is about a wimpy highschooler named Sawada Tsunayoshi, also known as Tsuna, he lives a normal life until Reborn comes. Reborn is his home tutor from Italy, he was sent from the ninth Vongola Boss to help Tsuna to be the tenth Vongola Boss because the ninth does not have much time left. Reborn teaches Tsuna in his own way, he has a special bullet, called the dying will bullet, when shot into a person the person becomes unconscious and they are given a goal to reach within that time. The reason it is called a dying will bullet is because when shot, you have 5 minutes to complete a task but you are doing it with your dying will energy, the energy you would release as if it was the last thing you were going to do in this world. Tsuna soon met friends and trained them to be a Vongola family member, because with every boss they need their assistants, but the Vongola calls them guardians, each guardian is given a ring that matches their personality. In this volume there was another Vongola tenth boss candidate, Xanxus, so they had to prove themselves worthy to the ninth to be the chosen family. Not only do the 2 bosses fight, but their guardians as well and in this volume, the guardians of lightning are up to fight.
I can connect this to real life situations. In real life, as a boss, you have to take responsibility for the people that were willing enough to serve you and you will have to suffer for their wrongs sometimes.
I rate this book 4 stars because in my opinion this is a very fun series to read and I enjoyed reading it, the pace isn't bad but the storyline can get complicated.

This vol actually started kind of slow. The beginning of Tsuna's match wasn't too exciting. Xanxuas truly is such a formidable opponent. I hate to admit it, but it looks like the Varia are by far stronger in terms of strength then Tsuna and his guardians!
Despite things starting off a bit slow, things quickly pick up with the various twists in this vol. I had no doubt that somehow Tsuna would win, cause c'mon our protagonists can't lose!! But just the sheer strength of the Varia really is overwhelming. Still, can't help, but feel they are scum! (Sorry to all varia fans!) Idk, man, Xanuxas, I honestly don't know what to think of him. He is just full of craziness and rage. He truly thinks he is fit to be the 10th Boss, but I still don't get why. Where the hell does he get his sense of entitlement?!!

wow, that was an intense volume. the battle is over a victor announced and the arc is finished. i honestly did not see a few of those twists happening especially in regards to the main vilains heritage so the final volume for the arc was refreshing in that way. also the final fight and the smaller skirmishes were interesting as well as fairly intense since they were fairly back and forth meaning it was extremely hard to predict the outcome. the villains did continue their cliched nature right till the end but not to bothered since it helped make the final showdown more interesting. overall a really good volume which acted as a nice wrap up for the arc. it will be interesting to see what happens next and where the story will go now.

First things first - I had a bit of trouble with the art in this volume. Its been pretty clear and easy-to-follow until now, but some of the sky battle fight just gets too muddled and I had a hard time keeping track of what was going on.
Perhaps because of this, the b story of the rest of the guardians was far more interesting to me. It was fun to see them all interacting in a web of aid, in a manner that was no doubt informed by their boss. Very enjoyable.

i love the manga but i hate the translation in this edition T^T
nevertheless Akira Amano (天野 明) and her series are an all-time favorite for me.even though it started as a gag manga it ended mainstream action. it is amazing and i love it^^

The battle is ending. Well, the battle is actually over, but the Varia doesn't quite believe that yet. They will find out soon enough. I did really like the new skill that Tsuna learning the midst of the Sky Battle. It is a pretty easy concept that I didn't really think of right away. This battle was very enjoyable to read.
