I often enjoy audios read by the author - particularly children's books - and this recording with 1970s sound effects is quaint and endearing. Unfortunately the content drives me a little nuts: Papa Bear is an idiot who is always claiming expertise and then making a fool of himself. It's the worst stereotype of a dad over and over and over again. We have several of the Berenstain Bears books and they're great. Some have hints of the dad being almost as immature as the kids, but none are as over-the-top as these original stories. (sigh)

Super cute! Highly recommend for nostalgia or if your kids are young enough to appreciate lol
I listened to the Christmas stories twice 😆
The authors actually narrate so it sounds like grandma and grandpa reading a bedtime story.

I'm always impressed at the creativity of these authors, as well as the relate-ability of these charming stories. Some of the book rhyme and some do not, and all are delightful.
