It has some very interesting drinks in it separated by what month they would be great in, although I feel like a lot of these are drinks already known or are classics. They did give me some ideas for mixing my own but I didn't really see what was 'Sandra Lee' about it nor did I feel like some of the picks for each month actually fit the month it was placed in. It felt like she was trying to use her face to sell the book then the actual recipes that were in it. I feel like it would be far better if she separated the book more on the type of liquor used rather then a month your 'supposedly' supposed to have it in. Trying to find drinks to make from my limited amount of bar liquor is really not easy. The I only got it because I found it at a Goodwill and saw the words Homemade Cocktails. Since I study mixology in my spare time, it was worth a look at but I don't think its that special. Pictures were nice though.
Interesting book..some recipes were a hit and some were def. a miss. There were a relatively large number of recipes I did want so I did end up purchasing this book for my bar though.
