Big shoes to fill if you're going to write spy stories... I got a bit bored by all the drinking and spliff smoking. In fact, I wasn't convinced you could consume that much and then do what our hero has to do without some counteractive Viagra.

Mossad agents, Iranians with nuclear material, Israeli politics- London's drug world. A spy novel with a lot of action, but not all of it plausible. There are lots of plot twists and turns to keep you guessing and turning pages.

Can't say that I liked the book too much. Yes, it's a pageturner. But there's just too much male macho attitude in this book. And way too many clichés. And the "happy end", well, I am not really into that after a read like this. I kept hoping that the main character was finally killed.

Not a bad book, it's not going to blow you away but it's pretty decently written & has it's moments.
Definitely worth checking out though.
