R to L (Japanese Style). She could hire him to date her, but she'd rather win his heart.
Everyone thinks 16-year-old Ryoko has weird taste in guys because she can't stop drooling over Ryunosuke, the strong silent type who sits next to her in class. When she discovers he works for a host club--where women actually pay men to date them--will she finally wise up? Only one thing's for sure in B.O.D.Y.--you can't put a price on love!
Dear Valentine,Had we but world enough and time Just dating wouldn't be a crime.I wouldn't think that it was rightTo say that I should spend the night. But at my back I always hear That sexy teacher slinking near.To get Miss Izumi out of your headShould I suggest we go to bed? Be mine!
An interesting series, the characters have morphed quite a lot from where they started. Many weird moments and all the romance-angsty stuff comes from outside sources...which is just a teensy bit irritating.
Still, this is a definite recommend shojo romance...meaning no real plot, just treacly sweet, mostly non-physical, pretty goofy boy-girl love. But hey, that seems to be what sells. @_@
Oh my god, words can’t even begin to cover how into this I was. The drama was just top notch. It was the type of thing where you’re super aggravated by what’s happening, but you’re enjoying every moment of it. I seriously wanted to punch that teacher lady. She was annoying in a passable way in the previous volume. However, in this, I was so done with her. I kept shouting at the book, ‘GO AWAY! He doesn’t like you!!’. Izumi was so out of line and the way she kept coming at Ryoko? Hell no! Like, someone report this woman and get her fired already.
As a side note, can I mention how much I love Ryu? He’s literally the perfect boyfriend. While I like Ryoko a lot, she could definitely learn something from how Ryu treated their relationship and dealt with their issues. I really appreciated how . That said, I’m still really worried about how Ryu will react after that huge cliffhanger. I feel like the situation isn’t going to play out as well as I wish it would.
lOVE how the mangaka suddenly changed her drawingstyle, and you start to get this deep feeling bwhen you read it. I allways suport the main charakters in the story, I mean Fuji and sakura is so cute together! But the teacher's "love" is realy starting to get on my nerves! whay can't she let them be?!

I can understand how Ryoko feels in the first half of the volume. No matter what, you are with him now. The ex is in the past and he loves you. It's hard, but you shouldn't worry.
