Accompanied by Calmenson's succinct yet sensitive descriptions of Rosie's varied work situations, each pictured visit attests to the joy and comfort Rosie brings to others. Crisp, candid photographs and friendly, fact-filled text tell the true tale of an exceptionally lovable dog who, through the generosity, skill and hard work of herself, her master, her trainers and vet, brings joy and companionship to strangers.
What is a visiting dog? Why is Rosie so special? What makes her so special? This book is about tis dog that visits people. She has a uniform. This dog visits some people that are lonely and sick. She visits elderly too! Who does she visits? She is a very nice dog.
Rosie was such a cute dog! I think it's great that people train their dogs to get along with people who don't feel well and it actually makes the people feel better having a visitor. A lot of the stories in the book were very touching!
